Just wanted to pop in to say goodnight. I'm in a really, really, really bad place at the moment. It's taking everything in my power to not do stupid things right now. I am just going to take a xanax and try to go to sleep.

Isn't aspirated H only a feature in French? I don't think I've heard of it in English, but I'm not really a phonetics bird, just a dabbler. The "h" in "an historical" is mute (though not if you speak slowly, I think - you could say "a hhhistorical memory", or would that be weird?). "Hono(u)r" starts with a mute "h", too, which is why it is an honour to meet you.

Ugh. Still feeling pretty horrible....but less crazed than last night. Just that sunk feeling and numbness, with a twinge of anxiety here and there.

Gotta get my daughter out the door early to my neighbors house and then take my mom to get a couple procedures done. The last thing I want to do is be in a car with my mom and supporting her through the procedures. I don't want anything to do with her right now.

I just want to crawl back into bed and never wake up.

Weird about the "h" thing. When I say Historical, I definitely pronounce the H. HISS-Tor-i-cal. As a matter of fact, I'd be inclined to use "a" instead of "an" in front of it. Craziness. I hate grammar though, never been one of my things. Now numbers...:eyeroll:

Oh Ike, the Blind Boys of Alabama is a must. I saw them live at Berkeley School of Music in Boston when my son was in college there. Cool stuff...they did the soundtrack for "Brother Where Art Thou" too (I think). Funny, I saw Roger Daultry on Pawn Stars last night ... he irritates the crap out of me.

Mastodon used to be Apt, so sometimes we call her that. She's a swedish professor and bookworm.
Sconnie lives near a piggly wiggly...lol...she's also dating a new guy and we rag on her from time to time.
ReadyToStop is an accountant/mom who struggles with time to do it all.
Healed is a mom/preschool teacher who's also trying to do it all.
Ike and CantExplain are our male couchers...Ike's a swimmer/music lover, CE lives in a Yurt.
BiPolarArtist lives across the ocean (so does CantExplain)
Hankster is a prankster and a she, not a he.
murray is a sweetheart, she shows lots of love
trdlblue hangs here at times, and loves turtles.
LolaCabanna is the welcome wagon...she started this thread over a year ago. She's going thru hard times right now, but she's a hoot.
MixedUpEmotions is a single mom who battles migraines (and her t right now).

Good morning Wiki! Surely Jesus didn't come because I would most certainly be gone <insert saintly music here> . Thanks for the intro about everyone! I've been around long enough to figure out not to hug SD but didn't know some of those other things.

There is wikidpissah who is the glue keeping us together. She is a master of vegan cooking, keeps dogs, and lives not far from the ocean. She has loads of empathy, support and common sense for the rest of us.

I had a great session last night. I only had time to talk about 2 of the things on my list. One was sort of hard....I'd like to talk to her more about it but if I let too much time go by I will sweep it under the rug, so I might ask for another session next week even though its supposed to be my off week...

I kind of wish my T would call me out on the I don't know...when she asks questions... it might help if I would sit with the questions a few minutes but my anxiety is always too high... then I'm stuck thinking about them for 2 weeks
