I actually was a Spiderman Chick. lol. And Aquaman. I have Aquaman converse. I never liked Wonder Woman though... there's a story in there somewhere.

What was the show on Saturday's...Wonder Twins? My bro and I made rings out of wire and used to pretend when we smashed them together we had super powers. "Wonder Twin powers activate...form of an ice cube, shape of a lion". Lol. We'd play that for hours.

no...I guess not. My little bro and I are Irish Twins...barely 10 months apart in age. Crazy when you think I was changing his diaper by the time I was 4 (we're talking cloth diapers and pins here). We are very close, always together. I don't know if I would have made it thru that hell without him.

How was your day murray?

So sad that you were taking care of him at such a young age. Good that you had each other though.
Thanks for asking about my day (Wiki). Things kind of suck actually lol. At least its pouring and that sort of fits my mood. At least my T was in a really good mood today and that made for a light session. He was pretty chatty as a matter of fact....oh well.

where are our Brits today? My son got a case of Jaffa cakes in from London. Everyone loves them (except me, I won't eat them).

It was kind of funny. I don't know if his wife has been ignoring him or what but he just talked and talked. I think partly he's trying to keep things light right now and not let me slip into negativity and that was the reason for the chatting. just found it really funny. He was even telling me about his bromance and all sorts of other stuff.

Bromance? lol. It's always helpful when a t is willing to connect in that manner. One of my most meaningful sessions was after XT's father died...we just kind of shot the breeze and compared notes about our fathers. They were actually kind of similar. I felt really connected and close to him that one time.

Thanks for understanding Wiki. It was very comfortable and just chatting helped me feel a bit more like an acceptable human being. I have been struggling with, among many other issues, the worry that T hates me and that no one could possibly tolerate me unless they were forced to do so. His engaging in friendly, casual chit chat made me feel like he actually could relate to me as a person that he doesn't hate, not just as a client that he hated but had to tolerate. ..not sure if that makes any sense. sorry

I am a poor excuse for a wife and mother. I was going to make eggplant parm for dinner and never got it together. So now H and kids are ordering Indian. At least there's stuff I can eat.

Went to a picnic this weekend. The woman wants to be a caterer. She had piles of grilled meat, potato salad, and traditional macaroni salad. There wasn't a piece of fruit or vegetable to be found anywhere. Not even tomatoes to put on burgers. I starved. I have never seen a cookout with out raw salad or fruit before. What about corn on the cob, or watermelon???

It makes total sense. My xt used to tell me things like "I respect you" or "I honestly like meeting with you" but I never believed it. I "felt" it that one shoot the breeze session though. I came away feeling like he didn't hate me.

I know...she's weird. I made a Mexican chocolate loaf that everyone raved at for an event once, she took a piece and bit into it in front of me and said "Yuck, I would starve if I lived with you." She did the same thing when I made a quinoa salad for a luncheon. She's obese, as is her H and both daughters are really big (poor sweet girls). I know she's intimidated by my healthy cooking. She did an amazing job on the theme of the picnic and the decorating, and I made sure I complimented her on that.

I actually chit chatted with my t a little at the beginning of session. She asked about my kids summer plans and when I told of them going to this sleepover camp she said her kids went to and loved it as we'll . I told her that I used to go as kid and worked there when I was in college

Small world... I've decided she is very nice ...maybe I could talk about more than today stuff with her
Thanks for this!

Speaking of food, I made myself a beet, fennel and spinach salad with toasted pecans and goat cheese. It was very tasty.

Ready...you will miss it. I'd give anything for an hour of my kid's undivided attention. (ie: locked in a car on the highway)

When my son went to college I cried for days. I slept in his bed and wore his hoodies everywhere. I had it bad.

mmmmmmmm I used to love beets with goat cheese. I love fennel and beets. I roasted some this morning. Sometimes I blend them with mashed potatoes and my fam loves that.

I've been thinking a lot about my homework of what would happen if people would get angry or disappointed with me... It's frustrating cause the thoughts that come to my mind are not realistic but makes me tear up so must be real in my head...
