We like you, so just post already.

Please be kind, because we all have been hurt enough.

Sometimes this thread moves quickly, and a post might get overlooked. Don't take offense if this happens to you, just post again. Sometimes yelling COOL WHIP works.

A wise suggestion from Stopdog: Contacting T while intoxicated or impaired doesn't usually turn out well.

Eat healthy and post your recipes.

Post Away!!

But didn't he also say it was recommended by his T?

I am going to ask my T on Tues. what she would think about scheduling me for an appointment later in the day so I can have a drink or two beforehand.

I just watched the better part of an NCAA woman's lacrosse championship. I am a little perplexed by the rules. Cradling too close to the head, check too close to the head,???. But the Tar Heels won their first ever championship in triple overtime, so I'm happy, as well as perplexed.

I've never actually watched lacrosse. It's sure become a big sport where I live though!

The drinking thing made me think of my T and chuckle. A few weeks ago, when I thought I was going to be through with this legal/divorce mess, I said that I was thinking of going out and having a drink after court with a girlfriend. T looked at me and very seriously said "why on earth would you choose to ingest a depressant at a time like that?" ...really T? lighten up a little...the funny thing is that I know he drinks sometimes and it took me ages to convince him that I actually don't usually drink- not even wine. Not sure why but he seemed to have this image of me as a person who enjoyed wine with dinner. Nope, not me. I will stick to my Dt Coke as it is so healthy :P

See this is the kind of thing that gets people confused about whether you're a boy or a girl.

It's the fastest growing sport in the US, supposedly. I really like men's lacrosse, but this is the first time I've watched women. There is not nearly as much contact and there are penalties for close calls.

Really? That cracks me up. My T has told me two stories that involve him drinking beer.
Thanks for this!

Damnit. Now I want a story that involves beer. I think that's what I'm starting with on Tuesday when he asks me what should be our focus for the session. Tell me a story about you drinking beer, T.

Yeah I know. But the quote is what it is. Did julia roberts maybe say something applicable in pretty woman? That could work. I do like to hang my bathroom hand towels up neatly. Wait that was her abusive husband from another movie. ..
Thanks for this!

The therapist did suggest to me that I try a shot of alcohol or to take a xanax before an appointment. I am not certain how serious the woman was, but I think she was sort of serious because of how anxious I get at appointments. I would never go in impaired - who knows what sort of trap I could fall into.

The public service announcement is:
Don't email, text or call the therapist whilst drinking alcohol or having taken any other judgment impairing substances. It never turns out well.

I am a she not a he.

Popping popcorn (a gift from the gods in my opinion - one of my absolute favorite foods on earth which I eat several times a week) in a pan on the stove is just as quick as microwave popcorn and does not include all sorts of weird chemicals. And I think it tastes a ton better. But if taste wise, you really like the microwave kind - I would still say try the pan kind a few times with different oils and see the delightful difference.
Thanks for this!

Hey, a new couch! Thanks, Hankster!

My daughter's friend came over, and I took them to the pool. Met up with someone that I hadn't seen since the end of last season, so it was nice to catch up. Felt good to relax by the pool soaking in some sun.

Finished making the oreo trifle and pasta salad for tomorrow....so I think I'm done. Unless I'm forgetting something. Which is totally possible.

The girls are asleep, and I'm going to try to get some sleep too....

Goodnight, couch peeps!

Woah. The other couch was officially closed. Dang. No bouncing on there. Guess all the bouncing has to be done here.

I totally said I was going to bed over an hour ago. *sigh*

I really have to learn to just turn off the computer and close my eyes. ** shudder **

But I hate the anxiety that the night time brings.

They should play it on horseback. On the ice.
