I'm sure he had no idea which t you were looking for at that moment so that is why you need to be specific when you ask for a reply.
Thanks for this!

Well, I didn't ask for a reply. So when I got one and it was so cold sounding I sort of freaked.
Anyway, I just had the unnerving experience of T emailing a minute ago to tell me that he's not mad at me and things will be fine. I know (I think) that he doesn't read here but...
anyway, I'm embarrassed to admit that it is exactly what I needed. I hate that a small bit of reassurance from my T can matter so much to me.

Well....after eating a pint of gelato earlier , I am thinking of eating a light dinner tonight.
Might make a salad.

How about you?

I love your t. I bet it's as simple as he thought more about your email and realized that you may have been asking for reassurance and emailed again.
Thanks for this!

Wow, I didn't log on last night when I got home or this morning and the couch adds about 35 pages. I give up on catching up. :-P

Well, I survived yesterday...senior place from 8-2, then drive 2 towns away to pick up C from camp between 2:45 and 3:00. Drive him to his house...watch him and work on some of his academic tasks with him and take him on a bike ride until his brother got home at 5:30 (though it was more like 5:45 because he was late) to take C to his dad's house for the night. Then drive to the next town to meet my grandma at the restaurant she wanted to go to for her birthday. Then to the library to pick up the books I requested be sent to the library by me, since they were in another library in the county that is about an hour away. I was busy from 7:30-8:00. Long day. But I survived.

Was supposed to be at the senior place at 9 this morning, but she called last night and asked if I could come in at 8:30 instead (I said sure...I could always use extra hours). I was supposed to be off at 3, but about 2:30 I got a call saying she was held up and asking if I could stay until about 4:30. I had nowhere to go after working there, so I agreed. So that was an extra 2 hours today.

Tomorrow I have to be at the senior place by 9 again...I have to leave at 2 though because I have to go pick up C from camp by 3, then take care of him until 6 when his mom gets home. I normally don't do C on Fridays, but his mom texted me the other day asking if I could this week. Hey it's an extra 45 bucks, so I'm up for it.

This has been a long week. And I may have to work at the senior place on Saturday as well. They may have people coming in to meet with them about one of their other businesses and may need me to watch K while they are meeting with them. She said she would let me know tomorrow for sure. I'm just racking in the hours between jobs this week.

Right now, after laying out my bills and pay checks for the hours I know I will have, at the end of summer I will have about $260 left to save for emergencies. If I get additional hours at either job or more measuring jobs with my dad, it'll be even more surplus. Yay. Last summer I was in the red. This summer I am not. I am very fortunate that I found these 2 "cushy," yet decent paying jobs. Beats working at a minimum wage job (not there's anything wrong with that...as a job is a job).

Well, I will have to wait until morning to take a shower. They were working on the boiler today for 1/2 the buildings in my apartment complex and have the hot water off today. It was supposed to be back on at 5, but they just sent an email saying they are still working on it and it will be back on between 10pm and 11pm. I'll be in bed by then, so I guess I will have to skip a shower tonight.

Well, I just wanted to give an update on the life of this Squirrel. I'll try to pop back in later tonight and tomorrow before I have to leave for work.

It'd be overwhelming to try to play catch up on 30+ pages, so I think I will just jump back in here. I'm amazed...it's almost time for a new couch already.

You are your words are very valued here. I think it would be exceptional not to have doubts about whether what you say is valued or matters, but especially on a therapy forum.

I'm here, and listening, but quiet... I'm listening even if I'm not feeling like doing a lot of posting today. So... sorry you're having a rougher than average time.
