Nice title, Murray. You were destined to start this couch.

You'd better not be having a orgy over here Ike. This a pristine couch.

Thank you, BPA. As for going past page 100, moderator offered up explanation that it fouls up the tubes, or something. Not sure I buy it, but i am no longer going past page 100. I am trying to be a good cyber-neighbor, though my nature is to be defiant.

Great title! We used to watch Car 54 when I was wee.

I've been very slowly tapering off Zoloft (from 200 mg/day down to 150 over the last six weeks). The last few days, I've been fidgety and antsy. I wonder if it's related to the Zoloft.

Thanks CL for clearing this up. I just looked up Car 54. The couch title makes sense now.
Thanks for this!

It's a little before my time as well. When I was young and visiting my mom for the summer she would always go out to bars at night and Nick At Nite programing was what got me through the nights when I was terrified...all the classic black and white shows were my companions.

Sorry, didn't mean to whine on the couch.

Anybody else watching Hannibal? Season finale starts in a few minutes.

I ripped up some of my drawings as I felt ashamed of them. They looked like a small child had drawn them. I bet those are the ones he wants to see.
For sure!

She apparently chose to start the couch, as she had suggested previously.

I tried to run right after eating and that was an error. I got kind of sick, so just cut over into our pasture and played with my horses. Now, I'm waiting my turn to use the DVD player to work out or watch something while I ride my exercise bike instead because it's too dark to run on the roads now.

Thanks for the new couch, Murray!

Had a long and busy day today. Entertained family at the swim club - and then had my T session smack dab in the middle of it all. That was hard.

T said that he's deliberately steering me away from dealing with the stuff that we talked about last week - because in a week, he will be gone for several weeks.

We talked about our recent rupture, which I wasn't expecting. It was difficult for me to talk about it, because I'm still so cautious. I did tell him that if I have a strong reaction to him, I'm afraid to tell him because I fear he'll threaten to terminate me. He tried to tell me that he wasn't seeing it that way - but it felt pretty accurate to me. Such a disconnect. He mentioned that it usually doesn't take him this long to be helpful. I felt like a huge disappointment. There may be no right way to do therapy, but I sure left there feeling like I do it wrong.

There are parts of this skit that are similar to my experiences with a therapist:

Thanks for the couch, murray! I thought of Scooby Doo when I saw the name, I must admit.

stopdog, I think I've seen that skit... I'm typing on my phone again so cannot check right now. But Fry and Laurie are always excellent.
Thanks for this!

Doh!

I've worked with this guy for three years and I don't know him well enough to buy him a gift.

Would it be possible to get something together with other people at work? Not as a regular collection, necessarily, but if two or three of you club together it might be easier.

I'm quite willing to pay for the gift. I just don't know what to get him.
