Pdoc and Social worker at hospital think T isn't qualified to help me...
So yeah, I wondered this at one point, but we have a good therapeutic relationship.

I just spent a few days in the hospital...and my T is still working on her degree, supervised internship, but seems like we've made some progress.
I know social worker talked to T...so I am a bit anxious about how our appt will go next week.

I am glad I went to the hospital because I think I needed it, but it didn't connect me with the services I needed it to. I got med changes...but ugh...I just started to feel some hope while I was there, and now...everything is just so overwhelming, losing hope already...just got out this afternoon.

Thanks for this!

Try not to give up hope. You just got out of hospital and have been through a lot. Maybe you can keep current T and see someone else too. It was mentioned here on PC that some people do that. Maybe see her a little less often but not lose her entirely? Give this more time. Dr.'s have been known to change their minds too. Take care.

butterfly, it's hard to develop a good therapuetic relationship with a therapist so you got that going for you.

Have you thought that maybe your pdoc or social worker thinks your T. should have done more to keep you out of the hospital? (even though there are times I've gone to the hospital when I had the best T. ever). You say you feel overwhelmed and are losing hope-can your T. help you with that? Listen to your gut.....D.

yeah...thanks for your responses. I appreciate it. I see her on Wednesday. So it should be interesting.
of course, the pdoc and social worker knew me for four days while IP...though I was totally honest with them about everything.
