Hope you're able to get some sleep, BPA....

Jersey - Apparently, my daughter's friend is only here til noon today. The girls made plans to paint birdhouses, go outside to ride bikes and make a homemade video. No need to think about lunch now! Woot woot. The girls just finished having homemade hashbrowns and pancakes. I'm hoping to get some cleaning and laundry done today. SO fun. LOL.

Actually I really am celebrating being able to do laundry at home.... my dryer broke in June so then I started washing clothes at home and then drying in Laundromat. then my water softener broke so our water had to much iron in it to wash laundry or drink or use at all except we showered in it out of necessity...(my hair feels like straw)

everything is fixed and we even replaced our dishwasher that broke last year... so I feel like I just entered the modern world of convenience...

Don't know what you got til it's gone - right, RTS?

I remember when my washer broke - taking my laundry to my mom's was torture. And then when my fridge broke....having to go weeks without any refrigeration sucked. It did help me appreciate things a lot more when I had to go without.

So far today... I cleaned the washer machine to get the rust stains out of it... Then I cleaned my shower stall of all rust stains... and I'm washing the white decorative shower curtain in Iron Out to get the rust stains out of it...

Next step is to hang the new shower liner curtain and rehang the decorative shower curtain... then its time to scrub down the rest of the bathroom. I've only been able to clean with cleaning wipes and wet swifter... Looking forward to scrubbing the whole bathroom .... I think I might even get my steam cleaner out... there is nothing that gets a bathroom toilet and sink to feel totally clean and disinfected then spraying boiling water.....
Thanks for this!

When I lived in my apartment when H and I first moved in together a couple years before we were married, I also did not have a washer or dryer. Had to go to our parents house. I hated that.

Lola... if your little field mouse becomes an issue... there is this stuff called Shake Away... you sprinkle it on the ground around the area you don't want the critters near. Its supposed to be like the urine of predators so its "natural" and not harmful to your pets....

I'm heading to Ross. And (cringe) Walmart. I also need to go buy a couple pairs of jeans somewhere. My pants are hanging off. I've been eating like there is no tomorrow so I'm not sure why all my pants are too big.

I am definitely not lively, charming, or always interesting. I am also not always the center of attention. I'm pretty sure i am not viewed in these ways by others.

I do think of myself as kind, and understanding and think i am viewed that way for the most part.

Ready...I love my steam cleaner. It's amazing how fresh and clean things can smell/look with straight boiling water, isn't it? Love it.

Ike...I agree that you are kind and understanding.

Granite??? You okay chickie?

Jerz...you need to eat bacon and cool whip, that will get your old pants fitting in record time.

We had our annual business meeting at church today, and it was actually okay. No yelling or anything. Quite nice actually. Church business meetings can be so very brutal sometimes.

I am chugging chardonnay to help with this stupid back/chest/arm pain that is supposedly caused by too much radiation. I took a percocet last night, but it seriously did not help at all. I really could use that ice vest NOW. Wish I hadn't waited so long to order the dang thing. Grrrr.

I am sort of impressed with your endurance, Wikid, if you can chug any kind of wine. It would make me so sick so fast - I would not get any of the positive parts. I do hope the vest comes soon.

Thanks SD. I was actually exaggerating a bit. I am sipping a small glass of wine. Wine makes me sick if I drink more than a glass, and there's no way I can handle red at all. It just "gets you there" quicker than a daiquiri. lol.
