42.....interesting.

Must be a day for cleaning, my house is also spic and span! I also got back out in the vege garden and hauled out all the other weeds and old veges, and discovered an army of snails. My garden is organic and pesticide free.... but really the amount of snails I found I need another remedy! Slimy little critters.
Thanks for this!

Hey BP...I have heard of that, and think maybe my grandfather used to use it too. Thanks for reminding me. I wish I could come up with a way to stop them even entering the garden without having to kill em! I accidentally squished some today and that made me feel a little bad!

I know...... a right baby, but I do hate killing things. I make an exception for the bush cockroaches we get here, and spiders! Hate those suckers.

And you have ultra scary and quite aggresive spiders..... I screamed an apartment building down once in sydney because I saw one that was bigger than a CAR!
(the neighbour upstairs came down, calmly got rid of it, and SHE told me I was the biggest pansy ever)

It was probably only a Huntsman, was it hairy? As long as it wasn't shiny and black you were quite safe.

They sure can...not as big as the tree jumping spiders I saw in the amazon ...... but equally as scary when they suddenly appear! Ugh, I hate spiders.

holy crap you yurt dwellers have HUGE bugs!
I had a spider on my deck that had made this huge incredible web, larger than me. I thought he was huge, body being the size of a nickle. (that's big for around here). I was afraid he would eat one of my dogs, so I caught him in a box and released him in the woods by the lake. Then I vacuumed up that marvelous web of his.

I did not sleep last night. This will be night 4 without sleep. I hate these strings of sleepless nights. Here's hoping I get a nap today.

Morning, couch peeps....

I am up early again. WTF??? Woke up early 2 days in a row, unnecessarily. The girls aren't even awake yet!

I'm getting scared that I might have a serious medical issue going on....but I am too scared to see my doctor. *sigh*

Gotta figure out what I'm going to do with these girls today. We usually go out to eat when my daughter's BFF is here, but I want to try to avoid that this time because of my financial situation. It rained last night, so it's awfully wet outside. If it dries out, maybe we'll go to the park. We always have stuff to craft with, so maybe that's an option.

Hello Couchies. I just read back through the pages.

Granite, dear, are you okay?

Ike-Send those ribs to NJ. Overnight them, please. Yum.

Lola, I go shopping either late at night or very early in the morning. Well, grocery shopping anyway. I don't think it's all that bad. Something about the stillness when it's dark out-makes it easier and calming, for me anyway.

On Bugs: No. Just no. Ewwww. Although I have to say that I do thank the praying mantis who has been living right outside my door for the past few days. It's eating the insects that are around, which means they are not squeezing themselves under my door. For that reason, I thank him.

MUE- No need to take the kiddos out to eat. Let them make something at home. Then go run around a playground or go walk a trail..well, after all that rain last night...things might be muddy.
Thanks for this!

They are okay. Its around 9:30am here and the weather is in the 70's today. its the first day of fall. love this time of year. You don't feel sleepy? My T says when I'm restless at night to shut off all electronics and lights and just lay there is stillness of the darkness at night and let my body rest. Not an easy task but it has worked.

Thanks for that tip thats what I usually do when I wake up at 2am. sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. If i'm not sleepy in half an hour I'll put my progressive relaxation cd on it usually works. Its getting quite warm here. I had the A/C on today.
