I think I would have been OK not seeing T this week....maybe even relieved. But, he had an available slot on Friday late afternoon, so I took it.

I have group T tonight. Hope it's a productive session. It's been feeling like a waste of time lately...probably because I haven't been involving myself much. Too many people in the group now - a lot of people trying to get their voice in the room - and I tend to not have much to say about what they're talking about. { shrug }
I commend you for going to that group. I was going to join one last year and quickly changed my mind. I chickened out. It was a Gesalt based group. Only group I would consider is a DBT group like I was in 2 years ago. Best thing that happened to me.

I am jumping on the "hate girly things" band wagon...yet I do shave and wear makeup and get my unibrow waxed occasionally, trying to fit in to the work force world.
Thanks for this!

Lola-when I worked in an office I wore make-up and office attire to fit in. But that was a long long time ago. I nannied, then stopped nannying and worked in that office for 5 years, then went back to nannying in 2005. That's when I got more "boyish" Lol

I'm sorry Healed, I know words can't always help, but Im too far away to do anything else. ((((HUG)))). If you wanna talk, Ill listen. Try to calm yourself, maybe a nice bath, glass of wine, ativan? ( those are me choices ) MKAC/SD choices.... go for a run, or bike ride... clear your head

Yeah, before I hurt my knee, I would just exercise until I didn't feel anything anymore. I think part of the reason I am really struggling right now is that I cannot get the level of exercise I need to kill off part of my emotions. [did I mention I tore my meniscus a couple of weeks ago?]

My oldest Daughter tore her meniscus this past weekend, she has to see a surgeon. She has psoriatic arthritus and apparently that is common for people with psoriosis. I hate to hear that MKAC. I'd do a few extra exercises for you but seeing as I am too lazy to do any for myself, Ill just be thinking of you as you mend.

It's actually better, but I tried to go back to the 30 day Shred with Jillian Michaels and it was not recovered enough for that. Once the swelling goes down, I'll go back to the bike.

Healed, do I remember you talking about biking? Do you have an exercise bike you can use to get rid of some of the aggression?

I bought the shred video, because of you MKAC... somedays I actually think about getting dressed to use it and I'm almost to the point of removing the shrink wrap from the DVD.

Slow and steady..look at me!

Woah, Lola. Look at you go! LOL

MKAC - Ouch with the torn meniscus. I had a torn meniscus a couple years ago, and that sucker hurt. I was told that it would heal on its own, but it took a looooong time.

Healed - You've gotten some great feedback. Sorry that you're struggling so much with H. Maybe these intense feelings will lead to something useful.

That's like me when I wanted to try the squat challenge. Stood up from the sofa and went to the fridge instead. At least I got up.
