Just as I was getting sleepy, I learned that my daughter's BFF was on her way over to spend the night. We didn't think that was going to happen, so my daughter was pleasantly surprised. As much as I enjoy having her BFF here (for my daughter's sake), I was really looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow.

Oh well....no worries. I'd much rather see my daughter enjoying her weekend. Small sacrifice.

"A better class of losers" is a pretty good description of the staff at WKRP.

Its dark outside now and I think I will clean my apartment. I napped for 4 hours this afternoon and now Im wide awake. I need to go to the store for a few things and I am debating on going now. I prefer to run errands at night, there has to be something to this. I am a night person, always have been, but most of the world like to live in the light... weird I wonder if you can make yourself more of a day person? Is there an app for that? Hope everyone is doing well. Granite hope you are ok.

I left and just drove around. the person who organizes these things got angry because of something that went on not allowing me to sign up for the next thing and a few people got mad at her so she got mad at all of us and really I didn't do anything .but whatever I destroy anything good or having to do with people anyway . this is standard .

Sounds to me like the organizer had a fit and your friends came to your rescue. You didnt destroy anything. You are right SOME people suck. She may be one of those some.

She said, "You're strange, but don't change." and I let her.

I think it appropriate and normal, (even preferable), to shop when other people are home sleeping. You may want to seek affirmation from someone a little less loopy than me.

The hug thread is now alive and well. I guess the administrative issue was taken care of.

I got a 39. Which would seem rather accurate.
I took it a second time giving the second best answer where I was torn between two choices and got a 37.

Answer to a question from a few pages ago. I think I could identify CE if we met in a group setting, but nobody else unless I had seen their picture.

OMG, I just heard my daughter and her BFF carrying on in the other room. I usually tune them out, but somehow zoned in on her BFF saying "I swore I didn't say orgasms, I said spasms!!"....and my daughter is cracking up hysterically.

Is it naive of me to think that my 12 year old wouldn't know what that was?

She might be using the word but still not fully aware of its meaning.

Hi all Back from my 9 day exile at my ex's place. I survived that but also I survived my T appt which I didn't think I would. I'll post it about it later, it was the most difficult awkward session in the past 3 years. Still plenty to work on. I don't know if i can catch up on 9 days of the couch, but I'll give it a go. Hugs to all except the unhuggables.

Bad idea! The generation gap is there for a reason.
Also, children have a right to privacy, too.

PS:

It's not for me to tell anyone how to raise their kids. Do what's right for you.

Time to make the donuts.....oh wait, no....that's in the morning. And I won't be making donuts. I'll be making homemade hash browns and probably pancakes....the hash browns are "by request" from the girls.

Time to catch some zzz's. Goodnight, couch peeps!
