Wiki... Its got to be so hard... How to stay focused on being positive and uplifting your spirit... But at the same time not ignoring such an unignorable thing like pain...

Sorry, I am always freaking complaining.

What's a little pain. It could be worse. Can't do anything about it now, so....

Wiki... Complaining about pain is always acceptable...and does not make you a complainer.... I rythmically moan when I am in pain...for some reason it helps and personally I dont care who it annoys... Pain supercedes everything else

Southie's used to be predominantly Irish. At least up until my generation. Now there is a mix. They are known for their attitude. Here's a real one:

ha....yea. Boston was very much like that. You could tell a person's nationality by where they lived. Southie was proud Irish, and they are kind of know as being extremely prejudiced. My dad was born in Ireland, he spoke with a brogue.

sounds like they had lots of fun....I wish I could go but our dog Sandy is getting old and requires us to make her food (4 cups of rice with just a 1/4 scoop of dogfood) so we dont want to take her to kennel... (she still has very loose bowels but this combo is the best we can get....the real chicken was not good)

WP I was an irish decent young adult living in a very italian revere neighborhood. I took a fair amount of good-natured crap from those around me. But the food was great.
Thanks for this!

I used to laugh because we moved from city to country and this area was filled with italian farmers... Everyone assumed we were italian catholics because we had dark hair and 6 kids... Guessed gthey didnt pay attention to the fair skin and freckles and our last name.

My grandparents had to elope cause my grandfather was irish catholic and my grandmother was irish protestant...and that was not done apparently....

They told my mom that they were married by justice of peace but when they died she founf the marriage certificat that said they were married in California...guess it wasnt acceptable back then to travel together unmarried so they lied to my mom her whole life

mmm....North end pizza was the best! Not sure about Eastie pizza.

Whitey Bulger had a liquor store in Southie...he used to sell candy in it, this way he could recruit his mob while they were young. Every boy wanted to be on his A list.
