I am confused now as to why you are seeing anyone? The GP's Lamictal is working and you say the shop lifting and anxiety are resolved/resolving and you know you had reason to be upset that your mum lied to the neurologist and you aren't and never have flirted with anyone etc.?

I would stick to the GP as long as you could, maybe see if you can save up and pay for an out of service therapist (if all NHS has is rounds of D/CBT and you've done that) or try an anxiety workbook or books on your own for a bit if you are still troubled by anxiety and get along for awhile with your GP so that when/if you want to try the NHS again, even if things followed you around, it would be after a bit of time so it wouldn't look like you were just going the rounds and not accepting diagnoses, etc.

well it looks to me like the pdoc has to discharge you, so maybe he just wants t keep his patients, so he gets paid more. I don't feel like I ever needed to see him, but scared to stop going myself cos of his bpd idea. I have considered seeing a decent pdoc privately, its just affording it that's the problem
