I walk ahead now, since she moved her office down the hall. I used to not be able to stand having her open the door for me. But she did, and then knowing that it bothered me, she opened it all the way, and leaned against it, pushing it to the perpendicular wall. lol really hated THAT! But now the door opens inward and I enter and leave her to close the door that she's already holding, and I head for the room, which is a short 6 foot walk. I usually wait for her to 'catch up' before entering the room.

I find it interesting that people are as hyperaware of themselves when walking into T's office as I am. I go in first and sit down, and then he follows. I am used to this routine. Any change from this routine would be stressful. Why? I don't really know.

My T has always opened the door but never left, so I just walk in after we greet each other. Well, except now since I'm always late (T knows, and it's because of work), so I just walk in since the door is open and she's waiting for me.

I follow my T upstairs to her office and she usually opens the door and allows me to go in and sit and then she follows closing the door. I have big issues with change, once my T followed me up the stairs and it send me into a huge spiral and feeling horrible about being in her office . she never did it again .she did try and I just stopped walking and she said oh you need me to go first? .last session she actually went in the room first and stood by the door and I had to walk bye her to get to my seat. I didn't like that much either
