I'm piling in too, Wiki! I'll keep you in my thoughts all day.

Mast, I hope the meds help.

CE, feel better.

I have T today and I really, really don't want to go. My last session was awful and ended with me practically running out the door. And then I called him the next day (which I rarely do), which wasn't very productive either. T made me promise that we'd talk about me running out and the phone call. plus, I think I've figured out what made the session so awful and I don't want to talk about it. I'd much rather just curl up in a corner and hide, thank you very much.

Right there with you, Wikid. I'm in a separate pocket because I'm sick today. What you are going through puts it all in perspective though.

CE, hope you feel better, also.

My stuff is just because once the tooth was broken open, the break allowed the infection in the tooth and jaw out into my system. The dentist mentioned how vital it was to get three doses of antibiotic on board last night before I went to bed, and he was NOT playing around about that. I don't want to think about how bad I would feel if I had not already had three doses.

Dentist and marriage counseling today! I am either really brave or truly crazy to do both on the same day

(((( wiki ))))

I am hopping in your pocket and eating all of the oreo crumbs. I know you'd want your pocket to be clean, so it's all in the name of supporting you and has NOTHING at all to do with loving oreos.

I see T in about 1-1/2 hours. I hope it will be a productive session. I'm not in a very good frame of mind at the moment, so I hope he's helpful. He is usually not directive, so the bulk of the work will be mine...and sometimes I really hate that.

Boy...you people made a mess! I need a clean shirt.

Still in remission. Nothing has grown. Had to listen to the whole "remission is not cured" spiel. Yada yada yada. I'll take it. WOOT.

AND...I didn't even get yelled at for my weight. I didn't get the "cancer cells love fat" lecture. Of course as soon as she walked in I said "I'm on high doses of prednisone, and I don't want to hear any SH IT about my size".

off to the gym. Land and water.

Thanks for being there...you couch peeps are probably the best friends I have ever had.

I do need to talk about my mad girl crush on the head vet though...that is freaking weird.

Oh, Wiki, that is excellent news! And good for you for heading her off at the pass about your weight.

I had to listen to the lecture from my neurologist last time. I had to laugh, though, because as soon as he was done telling all about how it puts me at high risk for all kinds of things like high blood pressure, he took my bp and it was low. Low enough that he told me that I should add some salt to my diet because he was a little concerned about it.

critterlady, that is FUNNY! My MIL is always giving me grief about the amount of salt I eat. When I went for a check up one year, I promised her I would discuss it with my doctor. I told him about MIL's concerns, and he checked my blood pressure and it is at the low end of normal always. He ran a few extra blood tests and when they came back, he said the only abnormality he saw was that my blood-sodium level was LOW. He said that was why I crave salt so badly, but also why I was peeing so often. A low blood-sodium level happens when you are over-hydrated, so my body was constantly thinking I was over-hydrated and trying to eliminate water. He also said if I ate less sodium, I would start having other health related issues because your heart and other muscles require salts. I had a hard time not doing the nananana-na thing at my MIL. LOL.

I keep hoping and praying for that final -- Olly olly oxen free that gives you the all clear, but remission is awesome!

And good for you on sticking up for yourself on the weight/prednisone thing!!! Way to take care of yourself and protect yourself!!!
