Yep! I think so.

I have a "thing" tomorrow here at my house...which means I have to prep for about 30 people. Not really a big deal, but I should actually clean the bathrooms. I am feeling kind of sick today too....spastic bowel (TMI?)...stomach issues. My body is just being a doofus.

I see my T on Tuesday. Had a good session last time but still struggling. Need her help admitting my ED out loud so maybe I can actually work on the behaviors.

Can I just brag on my t quickly? So, last week at the end of my appointment he asked If I was scheduled for the next appointment. I said yes, and reminded him that I generally schedule a month out. He said he had an issue with his scheduling software and wanted to double check. Turns out, my appointment was not in there and somebody else was put in my spot. He offered to see me an hour later, or to bump the person out of my spot.. I took the hr later option. This week I called to speak with the receptionist to ensure that the rest of my appointments were in there and they weren't.. So we scheduled new ones, except that he didn't have one for me next Friday. I was ok with that, when I saw t yesterday he asked me about next appointment and I said it would be in two weeks because of the schedule mishap, so he looked at the schedule and offered me another later appointment like this week. He could very easy just say see you in two weeks, and go home early on Fridays like usual.. But he is staying an hour later to ensure I have an appointment. That makes me feel good!

When you are doing that, it will be important to monitor yourself and try not to overwhelm yourself with it too much.
Thanks for this!

Wikid - barley budding is like a baked custard or rice pudding but with barley instead of rice.

I know I'm on at least one person's ignore list. Haven't the foggiest idea why because I don't even remember interacting with this person, but I suppose they have their reasons. Maybe something about my posts is simply triggering to them. That's fine that they take care of themselves. Remember, it is their issue.

I'd like to join the "Ignore List" crowd. I'm on an ignore list too.... it hurt me really bad at first but now I think it's kinda funny, not my issue.
Thanks for this!

It is a little funny, really. I'm not even sure I remember ever responding to the person before. Oh well, their loss. I had some words of support for him/her today that s/he will never see now.

I got to play with our unreleasable crow today. She's so smart and she cracks me up. I hope they find a good placement for her soon, though. She needs to start getting some real training from a pro. She's getting a little lazy with us!

I swear I am on someone's ignore list only because I put them on mine. LOL. She had a tizzy when she found out she was on my ignore list. When I heard through the grapevine that she was talking about it, I went and looked at her thread. It was kind of funny to read about and our perspectives were radically different. I didn't reply and went on with my life. Later, however, I wanted to respond to someone who posted in one of her threads and I discovered she had put me on ignore also. I just thought it was funny.

On the other hand, there was one person who put me on ignore and it made me stop and think more about how I had interacted with that person. That person had not done anything to me, but clearly I was bugging that person. When the person eventually took me off ignore, I made sure to be more careful.

On an unrelated note, I slipped and fell off our deck last night. My knee hurts and I am whiny because it was just getting better and I was just getting back to exercising.

I have all these old Halloween costumes my kids don't fit in and I guess I need to take them to goodwill. I tried to sell them at the yard sale but most didn't go. I have everything from toddler Thomas the tank, fireman, ninja, train engineer, knight, to child anikan skywalker...

My kids loved to play dress up... knights and army and fireman... I tried to donate to preschool and someone explained to me that due to lice issues they don't allow for dress up... incredible...

(((Healed)))

Happy Anniversary LC.

Sorry about the knee, MKAC. I injured my knee about a month ago(bowling)? You know you are old if your knee goes out while bowling. I am still having issues but it is improving.

On a positive note, I am making Eggplant Bayou Teche for dinner. I will post pictures if it turns out OK.
