Hi couch-

Nothing like having a mid year performance review w/your boss at 730 pm!!!! ahhhhhh. I get to sleep on my flaws as an employee. Actually, it wasn't as bad as I thought

I am so confused. My ex just rang me to tell me he is seeing someone else and just wanted to make sure that there wasn't any possiblity of a reconcilliation. I don't know how many different ways in different colours and flavours i have told him its over in the last year. I guess its just been denial. I did give a little jump for joy for him and i hope he will happy.

I love to swim. This summer that just ended (where I live anyway!) for most of it I swam 3-4 days a week for at least an hour at a time, and did some of the best therapy-related work inside my head while swimming. There were days I got out and jumped into the car without drying off so I could get home as fast as possible to type up all the stuff I'd been thinking about. Water and inner work go together naturally for me. I shoulda been a mermaid.

Well now I'm the one all out of place lol

I should have been a mermaid too.
I wear my glasses in the water. I have horrid vision, and I panic when I can't see...so glasses on it is. I have thought about goggles though...maybe I should look into that.

I have a few clients today, a wildlife class, the kid and swim class this evening...so I will be MIA for most of today.

If I'm having a good swim day, there's nothing like it for me. It can be like a moving meditation. It always takes me awhile to settle into a nice, easy rhythm, though. The first 800 - 1000 yards are a constant head battle - bargaining, whining, all kinds of stuff going on in there. But once I get past that, my mind and body both settle down and it feels like I could go forever. I get a lot of mental work done in the time my mind is focused on the feeling of the water against my skin, the sound of the bubbles, and the rhythm of moving.

Of course, I say all that while lying in bed instead of having gone to the pool this morning. That's always the hardest part of all - just getting there!
Thanks for this!

I don't swim but I have that same type of meditative experience when I'm walking on the trail in the woods. The sounds the breeze kissing my skin....I get a lot of stuff together in my head as well.

I was NOT talking about you. I am so sorry I expressed myself so badly. Truly I was not talking about you and did not mean to hurt you.

txted T to say I'm not sure I can come in tomorrow. I can't deal with what's going on in my life right now. T just replied asking me to please come in if I possibly can. Not sure what I'll do.

I guess it wouldn't be fair to T not to come in when I have booked a time. I don't think I'll be able to say anything though. Thanks for the hugs, guys.

It's good to see you granite - I was wondering where you were.

Mast: granite's kitty says you must go. Honestly that kitty could stare down the House Republicans. Maybe it should go fix the country's budget!

Thank you, granite! How sweet! The little one found her place with them! How do you get them to pose like that?? I would need superglue. That is truly amazing.

They look very "at home". And your home is lovely. My former t-pdoc said his favorite quote was, "Luck rewards the prepared mind." This seems like an example of that. It's a beautiful composition.

I'm sorry MKAC... I should have done a better job expressing myself but I was on my phone... I didnt think you were talking about me .... I was just saying that I could relate to that phrase... sometimes I do feel like I am wallowing in my victimness...

I am sick! I hate being sick! I have a cold (atleast I'm really hoping its just a cold) and I'm living on nyquil. I actually stayed home from work today because of it. I usually always go to work whether I'm sick or not... but the sore throat and the headache got the best of me. Glad you can't catch it through the computer.
