Anyone heard of this? I know sort of what it is, but my C wants me to put it into practice but I don't know how, I'm so confused. Ugh. This is why I should only see one T.

heard of it ... not so sure how well I understand it though
one T I had once practised it but he also used several other styles of therapy so I don't know how much of what he did was meshed together with other things

From what I understand of it, it's not something you can do alone, it's an actual therapy modality and requires a T to orchestrate it all. Perhaps she is talking more about your working on developing a narrative of your own life? Or is she thinking of referring you to someone who specializes in narrative therapy? I think it's really interesting, but over here in UK there is only a handful of therapists who practise it and they are few and far between. I'd be interested to know what you do about this, if you take her up on her suggestion...

It's an Australian-started therapy, I'd ask your T how she wants you to use it?

Here's a site I like for information: Learn What Narrative Therapy Is and How This Technique Can Help You

She said something about a narrative of my life but I don't know what I'm suppose to do? I wrote her the story of my life, the true story, am I suppose to write her a story about how I want my life to be?

I did some narrative work with my T, mostly for trauma processing. In my case, I wrote about some of the bad memories--and then also wrote about some good(ish) memories from the same period, some normal things. It really did help me see that my life was bigger than the bad things that happened to me. That I was more than what happened to me.

It took a bit for me to stop being self-conscious about my writing. T had to explain he was reading and helping me with the content of it, so the quality wasn't the important part.
