There is room for everybody on Couch 72

In my case today, it's that they are wandering out through my fingertips. I should stay off here.

Wikid, I hope your son feels better quickly!

You can talk about the weather. I'm sure everyone has a snow story to tell, and will appreciate a good listener.

Off to the vet. My dog is getting her annual exam and shots. Also gets her nails trimmed there, because she will not let me hold her paws still. They call it a "pedicure", which I think sounds too fancy; it's not like she's getting her toenails polished. Geez.

They do have doggy nail polish! And you do have to be careful not to cut to the quick. They should call it a pawdicure, tho...

I almost forgot but I have to take a state test tomorrow, it's a good thing that I checked the state website (I nearly forgot but something reminded me that I had one this week and I was just hoping that it wasn't today and I forgot about it).

My knees and back are killing me but there is no better way to scrub the floor than on your hands and knees.

I think I need to see how much those knee pads are that construction guys use because I have bones that protrude out under my knee caps that make it so painful to kneel and the gardening knee pad I use isnt convenient when moving around.

I just hope I can stand up straight tomorrow.

I think spending 2 hours every night after work cleaning will really make a huge difference. Instead of feeling lonely and ignored I will clean and feel like I accomplished something

I did another drawing exercise with Mr T. I shall post a thread when I get around to it. It isn't as rich a picture as I did about the rose.

Mr T named Violet Oaklander as the source of these exercises.

PS: The new picture is more Aspergic.

hey all.

Well, they finally moved my son out of icu into a regular room last night. He's doing better, thankfully. His color is still off. The boy needs to take better care of himself, he should have never gone back to work. He may get discharged over the weekend.

This morning I have to pick up mom and take her to the cardiologist. grrr. Not bringing her to see my boy though, no matter what. She's going directly home after the docs.

Jerz - wondering about you and your father. I saw this pic on FB and it reminded me of the problems you were having with your neighbor and the trash.

Thanks for the update, Wikid. I hope he continues to improve. Jersey, thinking of you and sending best wishes.

CE, the picture was really interesting. Especially in that your masculine side is so shut off and hidden by the fence, while the feminine side is just out there, exposed.

Hey couchies. Thanks for letting us know about your son.

Just a quick wave and/or hug to all before I board my flight. I am looking forward to this weekend, so much. I even got T to give me a kind of light session this morning so as not to disrupt my anticipation. It was still a good session... I managed to tell him some things from my childhood, about how I'd read books I could not quite understand and then I proceeded to build my understanding of how life works from that. I think that was rather important, and it's a relief to have him know about it.

Wiki I'm glad your son is doing better sending positive healthy vibes. Keeping you in thought. The pic gave me a chuckle.

Hello everyone. Just dropping in quickly. Dad got released yesterday. He's home resting but has bad liver damage that caused the internal bleeding. They got that under control by putting a band around an enlarged blood vessel. He also has diabetics and a mass on (well, I won't say where. Let's just say a private area). He has to get it removed and tested to see what it is it's. The liver damage came from 2 past hepatitis C infections. Once as a child then as an adult. So now just lots of doctor appts coming up and down the line a possible liver transplant. But they say liver disease is very slow at progressing so he won't need a transplant right away.

Thanks for the wam wishes and support. I go to therapy Tuesday to deal with all the emotions of being compelled to be by someone's bedside considering the way we were treated growing up. Should be a loaded session.

I was just telling people that I think that my Aspergers ties into my lack of drawing, however when I was doing group therapy I think that the other person there had it as well but she loved drawing and art in general (I personally hate it and always have).
