I'm sorry, Sunflower Queen.

It's a good motto, though. I do my best to live by that principle, though I stop after the first six words of the quote.
Thanks for this!

hey ya'll
Welcome Yearning, Leah and Sunflower.

I am really kind of upset right now, my thread was locked and I feel as though I've had my hand slapped. With a huge ruler. A ruler with a sharp metal strip on the end. The sharp metal strip is kind of broken and jagged too. Grrrr.

Oh, and I wanted to post a link to a very good article about Turmeric

I am sorry, Wikid. I noticed that earlier. I think it sucks that there are diagnoses that we have to walk around on egg shells, but others' sensitivities sometimes get trampled on. I do not understand why it's okay to have a discussion about triggers being good and not something to avoid (which is a good discussion, BTW), but has an element of 'just get over it' about things that set people off and could easily be seen as an attack on people with PTSD being too sensitive, but you cannot even mention the other diagnosis without getting shut down. That whole attitude is what makes me want to stay away from here.

I think it was locked because OTHER PEOPLE were taking it a negative/non-helpful way, not because of you. You just started a good thread, and it went the wrong way as some threads do. Please don't think it is what you wrote, because I am 99% sure it isn't.

Oscars are on tonight and I don't care one bit, my parents do though, which is somewhat ironic because I am they one who goes to lots of films a year and they hardly go to any.

The Oscars are pretty meh...well, unless you're nominated or something (I'm assuming you're not). I watched the pre-show for about ten minutes before I remembered how much hearing other people talk about clothes and how "beautiful" and "perfect" Hollywood actresses are annoys me. The last time I watched an awards show was the 2011 Emmys...I feel like I want to keep it that way, except that Ellen is hosting the Oscars, and I love her.

We are supposed to be getting snow. I hope its 6 to 10 inches that they said yesterday and it doesn't end till noon so I don't have to go to work. The worst situation is the 3 to 4 nusiance snow.

I had a moment of hope today.. That I could indeed get better, that I have the strength, desire, and willpower to do so. It lasted a couple of hours. Now, I just want to give up. I don't even know why I feel so crappy lately.

Yeah my dad always likes to see what everyone is wearing, I really haven't watched any award shows in over a decade (but probably with good reason since I don't really like much stuff that is "mainstream")

I used to watch the Oscars in my teens for the cleavage. It no longer holds the same appeal for me. I haven't seen a movie at the theater since 1999.

You know what, it interesting for me, even though I see a number of films in the theaters each year hardly any of them are ever nominated for an Oscar, in fact of the 10 films nominated for Best Picture this year, the only one that I saw in the Theaters was Gravity (which I loved).

Hey all.... today is rained, snowed, sleeted, thundered and there was lightning and now its freezing. I had SHORTS on yesterday, will this winter ever end? Hope everyone is doing well.... i need to go back and catch up on things unless someone wants to give me a run down of the last months activities.

I haven't seen a first run movie in years. I don't even know who most of the actors are or the movies. I am watching a ghostbusters marathon.

I would say just start from here and don't bother going back.

Since my regular shows aren't on tonight (at least not new episodes since I guess they figure they would get crushed up against the Oscars) I was trying to catch up on a few episodes of Rake (a great comedy-drama starring Greg Kinnear) that I have yet to watch.

I am a little mad at my decision to cancel my plans for tonight due to the incoming storm since as of right now it has done nothing where I am
