My T went from part time to full time at place she currently practices out of, and she still doesn't have her own office. We jump between different offices for each session, depending on the day. It is always whatever office isn't in use at that time of the day. I kind of hate it! I think it would feel "safer" and "warmer" to know it was her space and all of her stuff.
She makes it a point to make me feel comfortable wherever we are, though.

I don't consider the woman's office good or bad. I can't remember what it looks like from week to week other than that she sits in a chair in front of a coffee table separating it from the couch. I hate her couch and that there is no chair for clients.

Mine is in t's home:

It's a pale purple, multicoloured rug, with a saying on the wall and a bed with a patchwork design.

I'd say it's nothing special but I like it. A couch (me), a chair (him), bookcase (which I hate looking at...reminds me of "my place") and his desk. The decor is corporate office-like and understated. One thing I always find bizarre is one of the floor lamps is the same one I have in my living room lol.

Very small and crowded. She has LOTS of stuff and there's like no empty areas in the room. The walls are coated with artwork and encouraging sayings, there's a bookcase overflowing with books, there's a desk covered with papers, and two couches. She sits on one (always messy with papers everywhere from the day's work), and I sit on the other (the only empty surface in the room). Writing all this out makes me laugh because she has ADD and it totally reflects in her workspace. She isn't really disorganized and she can find everything she needs, but she is all over the place.

ETA: It feels cozy there, like I'm not going to mess anything up and I don't need to act professional while there.

My new ts office is very old style, the walls are pale mauve. She has a really retro couch that you can lye on, paintings of naked ladies on the walls and our chairs are very close. She has a tv, a stereo and all of her qualifications hanging on the wall. I prefer old ts office it was warmer

She has an office in her home now, but I have no idea what it looks like since we do phone sessions only. Before she moved when I still saw her in an office-office, it was pretty much white and tan colored except for the plant and the shelves full of sand tray figures. It felt extremely white and sterile at first, but I grew to love being there of course!

Wonderful! She recently got a bigger one in the same place which is an old multi level house. Don't know the age (10's, 20's?) but it has tiny rooms upstairs which look like they may have been servants quarters. Her new office is downstairs. May favorite part is a large stained glass window with a dragonfly. Dragonflies symbolize transformation and adaptability in life. Big with a couch area and a window seat next to her desk. The other tenants work in some sort of holistic health... Private yoga, readings, etc. I'm told there has always been a healing vibe. In fact Clarissa Pinkola Estes wrote her book "women who dance with wolves" there. I read that what it first came out. I feel fortunate to have found her but I so want that office in my home. I'd settle for just the window

Oh and they have a caretaker with a green thumb. I almost always take time after to capture some photos in the gardens.

The clinic I go to has the Ts switching out rooms all the time. It's actually somewhat disconcerting because I never feel quite comfy there.

I really dislike new T's office. It is cold, with ugly poster art and old dr's office chairs in the waiting room. Her room has a cheap desk and ugly furnishings. No plants or anything "warm".
This bugs me b/c I snooped online and saw the inside of T's house..very nice. This is this new-to me T's private practice. I think she could try a bit. I am still trying to like her, so things like this still matter to me.

My T's office is in her home. It's very comfortable, muted comforting colors, nice pillows that I can hold on to and a working fire place. It feels like I'm at a friend's home. I'm better able to talk in this setting than a sterile office.

I haven't seen Pdoc's new office yet, but the one I see him at now is in a clinic setting so we use whatever room's available. They all look pretty much the same, like offices. I haven't really paid that much attention honestly.

The office she uses during the week is a sublet so it isn't her decor. White walls, blue comfy couch (where I sit) and a rocking chair with foot rest that she uses (foot rest is where she puts her paperwork...side table with clock and lamp, and books shelf with children's games (the person who she sublets it from)..so very plain.. It is a fairly large room so there a lot of space between us.

He home office which she uses on weekends has an awesome is a lot smaller and cozier...it has a couch with narrow coffee table and then 2 rocking chairs...there is a lot of lighting and feels more like home..

My T doesn't have his own office as I visit him at a centre. The room we use had two low seats (for me & him) facing each other but at a slight angle with a low table in the middle. It has a window & another desk & chair with a mini wardrobe type thing - it's functional & impersonal. Not sure if I like it - it's ok I guess.

Larger than my last t's, DARK, dark brown couch and flowery patterned chair with matching pillows on the couch, a little warm for me. No windows.

Like my last t's office much better. It was tiny and cramped, but comfy. 4 colorful chairs, an overfilled bookcase, messy desk. Giant window overlooking Michigan Ave. (it was in Chicago, on the 19th floor).

I love my T's office because it has a lot of her things in it: her framed photographs, her painting, and her books. She used to have some of her rocks, but she may have taken them away. There are some colorful therapy "toys", like a squishy thing I sometimes like to hold. There are a few plants. She also has the collage I made for her up on the wall, as well as the card I painted her for her birthday. The little bear I gave her is sitting where I can see it, also. Sometimes she lights candles.

The couch is comfortable enough. She sits on a chair that she can move closer or farther from me. There's a small table next to me where I put my water bottle. It has a clock that she looks at. I can see a clock on the opposite wall.
Her office is cozy! I don't even know everything that is in it because there is so much, but it doesn't seem cluttered.

Well, I've had several Ts
1) big leather couches, big brown bookcases and a funny smell. Had it been a different T, I might have been more comfy in that office
2) dark, one very uncomfortable blue couch, only one orange wall, and very cramped
3) plain chairs, one orange wall (what's with the orange walls?), a bunch of crooked pictures and a very messy bookshelf
4) old-looking couch covered in blanket, dark, only one crooked picture though, lots of orchids, semi-messy bookshelf
5) plain chairs, a chest of drawers (what?), a mostly clean bookshelf, and tan walls
All but two of them had big desks in their office.

I find it very warm and cozy, more like a living room than an office, although its in a professional building. Leather couch & loveseat, high-backed office chair for him, about 6 or 8 floor to ceiling bookcases filled with books, personal photos, funny stuff, inspirational stuff, tchotchkes. Also a gumball machine. Windows on one wall, no overhead lighting - just desk lamps. I'd have trouble relaxing in a clinical office setting. I'm glad I found a T with a comfy office.

Its cozy. It slightly rectangular and has 2 spaces that I define but theres no physical divider. A testing area that has desk/office chair, file cabinet, etc. And on the "treatment side" it has what I would describe as an occasional chair, a winged chair that sneakily reclines (T sits here), and a kind of wicker love seat with a cushion (I sit or curl up here). Theres also a soft bench with storage, a slanted shelf, bookshelf, and small table between the chairs.
The walls are a kinda light, light green color (I found the color in its hexadecimal code : ccffbb). Its a bit bright for me and Im not a green fan... I wish it was a grey blue Theres a window that is closer to the testing side of the room. She has decorations, very into fluer de lis and some paintings by her MIL, diplomas also framed and on the wall. Theres 2 photos of her son. She also used to have a teddy bear I gave her out but has taken him home after taking him with her on trips (I have DID and shes great about transitional objects).

This office has been hard for us to adjust to after moving. I like it other than sharing a wall with the lobby. Really SHE makes it cozy.

T's new office is awesome. There is a large window that provides plenty of light. She decorated with a lighthouse theme. There is a loveseat and a chair as well as T's chair. There are a couple of small tables and a bookshelf. It is much like a living room.

I like T's office a lot. One of my favourite things about it is that the door is not visible (you have to go down a flight of stairs to reach it) so it feels like an enclosed, safe space. I also like that it is fairly bare and uncluttered, which makes it a calm kind of room.
