My appt is at 11am today, I did all her stupid homework, its gonna be my stupid 3rd session today, I dont even like her that much, why then am i so damn angry when, I called the receptionist, to see if she was in yet, because i know whether or not I could just take my time or not, they told me she was not in yet.
Now I am wondering if she is gonna call out, which is making me extremely pissed, its now 840 she should be in, I am gonna call at 9am again.

Sounds like you might be doing some understandable flailing in anger and anxiety because you're still adjusting to the transition between therapists. What do you think?
It's hard to trust her, I imagine, but I don't see an objective reason to fret that she will not show for the appointment- was she not feeling well last time, or something? Can you give yourself some reassurance that you will be okay, no need to push, just do something comforting for a while and see how the day goes? Alternatively, if you're feeling more mad than insecure, maybe time to have a good tear! Go beat up some cardboard boxes or write an I hate you letter, haha. |

You sound angry at your old T and are taking it out on your new T. Although it's totally okay to be angry at old T, you have to be able to place the anger where it belongs. If you continue to pretend that it's about new T, it will never go away. I know you probably don't feel comfortable being angry at old T, but you do definitely sound angry. This is something you can bring up with new T and have her help you through it.

I know that my T rarely gets in to her office until just before her first appointment. I was once T's first appointment, and I passed her on the freeway! Since I passed her and was technically 10 minutes early, I sat in the parking lot for a few minutes to give her time to get to her office. If the T doesn't have clients until 9, I wouldn't expect her to be in the office much before that, unless she typically does paperwork or responds to emails in the morning.

Sweepy, I can understand your anxiety about this. In time, you'll be able to relax a bit more.
When I start work at 9am, I never get there much before 8.50am. I guess that most 9am-starters are the same.
