My t wants to start doing it with me soon, so I was wondering about any experiences people may have with it.

I have major PTSD and CSA iissues. Lots and lots of crazy-making things from my past.
I was with my T three years before he got certified in EMDR. It dramatically helped! I have gotten to where I can now use it outside the therapy room on my own.

It has been very helpful for me. But make sure your T is certified in it.

Can I ask why you are scared? I will also have EMDR and I read here a lot that people are afraid of it but I do not know why I should be afraid (maybe I do not understand something about EMDR). I thought that it is much easier than e.g. talking about all details, or exposure therapy... I don't know, I guess I am just extremely insensitive but I am actually looking forward to it...

I started EMDR last month but I really don't know if it's actually doing anything or not. I have a fear of losing control and that may be stopping from fully getting into it. My feelings from childhood are blocked off pretty well too.

yes.

i am scared because i dont like feeling not in control of what might come up during EMDR. T tells me you are in control but i am afraid of the memories flooding back. ive heard it can make u unstable because it is so intense. i trust my T 100% but my fears around EMDR hold me back
