1) I am grateful for a loving mother.

2) I am grateful I was able to be touched in therapy.

3) I am grateful my therapist knew what I needed to heel, and when we were stuck she searched high and low to find the answers (rereading John Bowlby's 13 volumes on attachment).

4) I am grateful for healing.

5) I am grateful for outdoor concerts in the parks.

We're cleaning this weekend and it's like a treasure hunt!

I'm grateful for my son finding his missing textbook and saving us $60!

I'm grateful for finding the missing 3rd cordless phone under his bed!!!

I'm grateful that guests will no longer be tempted to write in my dust.

i'm not going to be reading threads or posting for the next 100 days as i'm going to really limit my internet time, starting tomorrow, but please keep this thread going if you want to. i'll still be on the forum because i send amelia something every day and will be checking to see if there are any updates on her. ciao guys.

- fun with trying to paint an abstract painting, something i've always wanted to try
- for people who just "get it" and can identify with my journey
- new beginnings

I missed few days due to the business trip but it's time to catch up
1) my T who actually understands what she should say or rather not say when it's needed
2) the fact that my family, friends and I are more or less healthy - husband's friends have a disabled kid who is great, amazing and very optimistic and happy but after spending some time together I know that it is not easy to have a child who needs "a bit" more attention and help...
3) the country in which I'm lucky to live - it is the best country in the world! (no I won't tell you which one because you all will come and will be too crowded )
Thanks for this!

Great question, blur.

Well, I woke up, that's a start. I'm thankful for that (somedays, I'm not).
I'm thankful that I cared enough about myself to make an appointment with a new T and that he was able to schedule me in the next day (which is today).

I'm thankful for my job, a place to live, food to eat, my cat, my family and my friends, my health... I'm grateful for a lot and it's always good to remember what is going good, so thanks for the question. Great thread. So I guess that makes me thankful for this form and you as well

My verve to stand up for myself and others that may need a hand

My loving family

The ability to regulate my emotions

The lack of ability to control my kiddo - this is only true sometimes.

3 more days. 5 more class periods. (Finals week is useless. Glorified babysitting if they aren't testing.)

My husband did such a great job of maintaining his boundaries with his horrible family yesterday. Proud of him.

Snackage in the faculty center!
Thanks for this!

My T (I think)!
She has restored some faith in our fractured relationship today. I am grateful for that.

My Sons. They drive me crazy but I wouldn't be without them.

My Friends. I think they do care but I make them angry sometimes....

Thank you - great thread.

1) my H who's just said "you have to love me a lot if you clean the house today" - he's parents are coming for the weekend and he's extremely stressed so today we cleaned the whole house - we have a day off here and it is +34 Celsius degree (93 Fahrenheit)
2) weather & long weekend - it's nice to know that I can do whatever I want even if at the end I won't do anything
3) my grounding ball
Thanks for this!

No one was hurt in the accident

A kid that is learning to step up and be helpful

When I needed to wear my big girl bloomers through the last week they were there nicely laundered and starched to get me through thanks to successful therapy.
Thanks for this!
