For priceless comments from students like this one I got today: "Mrs. A, you have the hearing of a fruit bat!" (They keep me smiling.)

Much needed rain.

8 more days of school!
Thanks for this!

I like what I do for a living--no, love

CBT T has been very understanding and patient with me

Main T is still in my life, aging but healthy.

My youngest who turned 15 today.

Listening to the silly banter that bounces back and for between the men in my life. Brings me so much joy.

One more day until payday. May is expensive in this house. Five birthdays and Mother's Day and graduation . . .

I forgot to write yesterday.

I'm grateful for yoga class.
My little grandson didn't cry when I babysat.
I sketched something that I like.
Thanks for this!

I'm grateful I can go to the mall, eat some junky food there, and work away from home for a while: I'm sure the change of scenery will do me good! (Now to hurry and make it happen!)

I'm grateful my daughter slept all night: that's SO rare, and this is the second night in a row.

I'm grateful for my therapist, to share all my serious thoughts.

Also, grateful for my doggie.

My T's unapologetic honesty today.

And that she let me run over by 7 minutes.

And the overtime I'm working this week and next so I can pay her for every single worthwhile second!!

Yesterday:
1) the e-mail from my T, especially as she always says that she doesn't respond to e-mail Or should I rather start to worry?
2) Doing what I wanted and not what in my opinion I should have which doesn't happen often - I responded to my T's e-mail
3) H who not only didn't disturb me during work but also went for shopping, cooked and made laundry

Today (I might not have much time in the evening):
1) H who is going with me tonight, so the whole trip planning (booking flights, hotel etc.) is much easier
2) colleagues who came to listen and comment my "rehearsal" talk even as it is the middle of the long weekend
3) flying - I love sleeping in planes - I am already looking forward to getting some sleep then

A few very special members of my family. I feel so blessed to have them and that they are so willing to help me through such a dark time. It *almost* makes me forget my sh***y parents exist. Almost.

I am also very thankful to have found this second Therapist, who is so very validating. Her added support really helps and I find myself looking forward to that appointment each week.
