We are both divorced with one child, we each have a daughter who is about the same age.

One time when I still saw her in person, I told her about a dream wherein my appointment with her was in a home office, not her normal office and the waiting room was a screened in porch. She told me that she had been thinking of buying a house with a porch like that and working from home. This was months before she moved to another state and bought the house she now works out of!!! She said it's not unusual as closely as we work together for me to somehow have picked up her thoughts. I thought it was freaky but cool too. She didn't tell me at the time that the house was in another state!

Nothing that I know of.
The woman has said "one way you and I are different" and then, in response to my look of utter disbelief - she has changed it to "another way you and I are different" - I usually mutter something about there not even being one way in which we are alike.

T's first year of college she attended where my kiddo will be attending in the fall.

My 16 yo son has always been obsessed with Boston College and would love to attend (if only he had the grades). For years now his bedroom has been painted with all the official colors of BC...T received her LCSW from Boston College.

Her old PCP is a good friend of mine . The friend now works at a nursing home so is no longer her pcp. We both still have a pretty great relationship with the family.

T had been looking to buy a house a few years ago shortly before we did. She looked into buy our current house but the home she had at the time wasn't selling so she didn't buy it. We ended up buying the house but had no idea she had looked at this particular one. Then she looked at the house right next to us not realizing where we lived. When I told her where we lived she thought it would be best if she kept looking and she found the perfect house for her about 1 mile from where I live.

No really too much, but we have similar colour hair and an interest in angels and new age things. I saw she had a Christina Augilera CD once, which is what we also have in common.

We both share a concern for wanting to make things better for others, especially children. We have a weird sense of humor and we use to laugh our butts off at times. We love concerts, and plays. We know some of the same people. We use to belong to the same parent/kid group at the same time, and we did not know this when I started therapy. When I found out I accused her of lying to me, because she knew all the people I was talking about. It didn't register at the time. I had just left a long time friendship, and was thinking of leaving another. She actually understand what I was going through with these people. This happened twice.

Hm...we share a hobby, our kids are in the same school district (which is huge)...other than that, I'm realizing I don't know a lot about her!

We share a lot of the same values and intellectual perceptions, but nothing else. Different hobbies, interests, tastes in reading and music, foods liked, etc, but somehow it works!
