Seriously? have you told them to stop doing that?....I mean you pay for your session right? You're not paying to have them answer the phone and talk to other people during 'your' session its a waste of your time.

If anyone who charged me anywhere near what therapists do per hour and then had the audacity to answer phone calls during that expensive time slot, I would report said individual. If a therapist charges $100/hour, that's $1.66/minute. Not paying someone $3.32 to take a 2-minute phone call.
Thanks for this!

I forget T has a life outside of the room. I'm not needy and I do know she's human, but sitting with her for a full hour each week with all her attention only on me I forget she has needs too. I know some facts about her life. Mostly the basic stuff.

That's very unprofessional for any T to do.

That sucks! Realizing Your T Has a Life Outside of the Room...

My T has s l o w l y revealed himself to me. He pulls back, like now, when I am behaving obsessively. I think it's what's best for me.

I don't think they should do this. Unless it's about an emergency situation. I guess. I don't know.

I would be pissed off if my T took a call during my session. I love my T, but that would be so unprofessional and rude. I don't care what I'm paying her, it's decency and courtesy to refrain from answering calls (unless you absolutely have to and it can't be avoided) when you're with others.

Lets see... Gone to the beach, climbed a mountain, gone for walks, roller skated, to the grocery store, out to eat for breakfast/lunch/ dinner/ ice cream etc, she has been to my house a couple times, visited a farm, went to the park. We like to talk outside and while doing something interesting, better than just sitting in an office
