My Ts birthday is July 12th. She told me this. July 12th is a Saturday.

My T let's me send her emails but she will only answer the ones she feel can not wait until my next session. My impression is she doesn't want me to send her emails.

My sessions are July 2nd and July 15th.

Would u send her an email on the day of her birthday or just wait until my next session. Thanks!

If you know she doesn't want emails, I'd wish her happy belated birthday on the 15th.

If it's just your impression she doesn't welcome emails, but she hasn't actually said that, I don't think it would hurt to send an e-card if you feel like it.

I sent my t an email on her birthday. But if you are seeing her near that, I would wait.

My session was on his birthday.
But if I should wait for some days I would want to text him in his birthday but I would scare to do it.
If i were a therapist and my client texted or emailed me on my birthday I would think that it's nice even if i didn't allow to text me etc.

I think that both of your versions are good, listen to your heart

Thanks for this!

I can't ever remember when my t's birthday is. I know the month lol. i'll probably get him a card. he's getting "old" and i tease him about it every now and again.

depending on how you feel about her, i'd either just wish her a happy belated bday at session or bring a card with and be like, 'happy birthday!' idk.

i was thinking of getting my t a small gift since it's a milestone bday but i'm not sure what's a good gift for a t. i hate dust collectors :P

I'd send a snail mail card. I know my T's birthday is in July...but I don't know the date. She sent ME an Email on my birthday recently.... which I was touched by (it was the first thing I woke up to that morning), just wishing me a HAPPY BIRTHDAY (even though I had a session the day before). I'd love to return the favor if I knew when it was.....

I would do it face to face on the 15th, because for me, if she didn't reply to my email I'd probably get upset and offended.
