So T thinks I need to work on self acceptance. That concept sounds so out-there though. What do T's do to help clients get to the point of self acceptance?

Self acceptance sounds like something someone with self esteem would feel. Since I have the self esteem of a Walnut

My therapist accepted me until I could calm down and accept myself. Since I couldn't alienate her by being a brat or a hitch I could settle down to see myself as she saw me.
Eventually it took. |

I think I am fine when alone. I find other people baffling and interacting with them treacherous and filled with mine fields even when I am trying to be quite careful to not upset people with my opinions.
I have no idea if the therapist accepts me or not. I would have my doubts on it.
