That's weird! I would be pretty upset with it too because I don't ever want to catch my T in a lie. I'm pretty sure she keeps some stuff from me for my sake but lying over something this trivial and unrelated would totally undermine my trust in her. I guess she doesn't want you to know she's going but like you said, it would have been perfectly normal to just wish you fun without adding on the superfluous part about not knowing about it.

However, sometimes I impulsively lie about random things though - I have no idea why. It feels natural to me! But then and again, she should know better as a T...
