No. I don't know if it is an option and if it were I would never do it. I need to learn to deal with things myself and it wouldn't be helpful to me at all.

Also it isn't secure or safe. I would be really uncomfortable with that aspect.

all the time. throughout the week in between sessions. she says i can contact her whenever and she usually responds. so yep. there;s really no policy

My therapist has a cell phone he never uses or charges so no, no texting. I can email.

To schedule. I have a strict, self-imposed "do not communicate with the therapist under any circumstances excluding seeing her office on fire" statute in place.

We never discussed the text rule in session. However, I learned over time not to unless its a true emergency or an appointment change. In the beginning I did not understand boundaries. When I texted T like a friend, he would not respond. I was quite hurt, but then after reading about professional boundaries, I realised it was better not to. He's my T once a week for an hour, I get it.
