I'd really like the sand tray materials, which are in T's office complex, to be in his room. The last time I was irritated with him we scheduled the sand trap room, where my "scene" involved him as a character with his head stuck in the sand.
Thanks for this!

Music. Alternatively bring (and have T bring) music to play softly in the background (if mutually agreeable.)

It always amazes me how many "regressed wishes" there are on the forum (not that its a bad thing, just a surprise I'm assuming everyone is adult, or pretty much, right?)
Thanks for this!

We sit side by side on the floor leaning on each other,OR if it's a really sensitive subject we sit back to back pressing against each other. I take my teddy as well for comfort.
Sometimes I would like to hold his finger in the way a kid does when frightened but trying to be brave.
I've been offered blankets, toys, rocks and even play dough (very tempting).

I'd like more comfortable seating.

Footstool!

Alexander the Great had the same problem when he sat on the throne of Persia.

Those seem perfectly reasonable requests.

I wish I could bring my horse with me... I know not really practical, but he's a great comfort to me.

On a more realistic scale, I'd love to see T in the bigger office as I like those armchairs so much better. They're so roomy and I can get comfortable in them, in the other office they're so narrow I can barely move...

I want somewhere to hide.
Perhaps a sofa and blankets so i could build a fort to hide and sulk in, and I'd hang a sign "NO Ts ALLOWED!!"
Thanks for this!

Mine has a space heater and I hate it. I feel like I'm being cooked.
I wish she had a couch, pillows and a blanket

Have you asked her to turn it off?

No I would never because I'd rather be hot than her cold. It's her office anyways.

Definitely music - maybe it would help me get my feelings out and finally cry in front of her. And, it would fill the silent times as previously mentioned.

LOL Jordy. My T allows dogs to come with her clients if they so choose. She told me once if I wanted to bring my horse, she'd make it work. I know she was serious too....

I really wish my T would have a therapy dog (or cat!) in the office. A snuggly, well-behaved pet that could sit by you and just be there...

A soft plush blanket. Not to put on me but I love the feeling of just rubbing the material in my hands. I have one at home that a adore but would never bring it to a session.

Her dog. I have had sessions at her other office and find her dog very relaxing. I adore him...

I want her to get an electric clock that doesn't tick. She hasn't yet.

I wish she had a couch instead of two chair so I could sit next to her and fall asleep feeling safe but she wouldn't allow that and it would be an expense nap
Thanks for this!

I'm sure his regular office has all of the nice things. But i'm still working on that driving phobia (sigh) maybe when I'm over it I'll meet in his nicer office!

There's a sand trap room in your T's office complex? An entire room?! That is sooo cool! Until I got to your post, I was feeling kinda smarmy reading through this thread because my T's office is awesome. Now I have Sand Trap Room Envy

I need to have therapy outside, in a park, by a sea, on a meadow. Being cooped up in a stuffy clinical setting is not good.
Thanks for this!

Upon reflection, i would simply prefer it if therapy took place in my office. NOT my home, but my office with me at my desk.
