I have only had a few sessions with my T.
Part of me is really starting to trust her.
That scares me. Usually when I start to feel like
I can trust a T is when I start to push them away.
I really want to stop hurting myself and get better.
I don't want to push this T away.
This T seems to really know her stuff.
Grr.. I hate having such extreme trust issues.

Well, since you know of the problem and the results of it, maybe you should talk to the new T and tell her about it. Maybe she can help you with this problem too.

Especially as you're starting to trust the T... tell them that. Let them know that you're starting to feel some trust and that you're worried you'll push her away. She'll likely be able to help you come up with some new coping skills for that!

Why bother going to therapy if you don't want to get better. If you don't want to trust your therapist. If you don't want to confide in them. What's the point. Waste of money. Waste of time, yours and especially theirs. I don't get it. You know you have a problem and that you need an expert's help. You like this person and are starting to trust them. You are afraid of trusting them therefore instead of letting them know this, you think you should leave therapy again. Awesome.

Therapy is all about push and pull. If its moving too fast, take a week off. Slow down. Trust building takes time and resistance is natural. Just remember that therapy IS work. Sometimes you have to make your self do something scary.
