The entire Ryan Adams album "Ashes & Fire" especially:

- "Come Home"
- "Save Me"
- "I Love You When I Don't Know What To Say"

We were having this exact discussion on the 'romantic feelings' sub!

Mine is 'Stay' by Rhianna. V cheesy I know, but I think the 'round and around and around and around we go' bit sums up my therapy
And the chorus
'Not really sure how to feel about it
Something in the way you move
Makes me feel like I can't live without you
It takes me all the way
I want you to stay'

This is how I felt during my ET peak
Thanks for this!

newest current T (soon to be another former T) is associated with Fake It by Seether, because we had a conversation about needing to be fake-happy even in therapy... also crash by esthero

I think I can make almost every song I hear remind me of ex T. Mostly I imagine she liked the same music I do.

Cat Stevens...it was played at her funeral.
Love her and miss her so much...

Through Glass by Stone Sour

How do you feel? That is the question
But I forget you don't expect an easy answer
When something like a soul becomes initialized
And folded up like paper dolls and little notes
You can't expect a bit of hope

So while you're outside looking in
Describing what you see
Remember what you're staring at is me
Thanks for this!

When CBT T is really turning the screws, I think of Disney's Mulan "I'll make a man out of you". (He's sometimes the exaggeration of a male stereotype , which I usually find amusing. And sometimes he seems to be trying to turn me into something i'm not.)

Thanks for this!
