I missed you, MKAC. (and a lot of others too). Even though T isn't good for my life, doesn't mean that the friends I've made here aren't.

I need a good comfy spot on the couch. Grounded the oldest girl this weekend for bucking curfew, then she's out running the roads today (against the conditions of said grounding) and her highly irate comment to me was "It's easier to be in trouble with you than to say no to this friend." But the real kicker is, "Why am I in trouble for doing something that YOU did my whole life???"

Grrrrr.

Now she's grounded 3 times as long, and has lost her V-Day date, as well as her brand new cell phone. I'm so done. SO DONE.

Ah, another couch - I enjoy finding myself here more often than I used to browse in the past . I think I like couches. Now if only my contacts would cooperate with me today so I could see that would be wonderful! Also debating on getting up enough nerve to read T's letter to her this week or just have her read it to herself like we usually do. Meh.

I usually always have to use a dictionary whenever SD posts. At least I learn things by hanging out on the couch even if sometimes it's just advancements to my vocabulary.

And Cat, thanks for your support tonight
But I think I've really had my eyes opened. My own fault I know, cos I got drawn into a thread which, frankly, had absolutely nothing to do with me whatsoever. But, so shocked by stuff that's been said. Pc feels very unsafe for me, now.

It's been great hanging out with you guys, and I will miss you all, and Hankster making me laugh, and Stopdog being so Stopdog, and Shakey...I wish you all the best in the world. Getting sentimental now.
So, I think I message a moderator to close my profile, so I'm going to do that now. But thanks for all the support, and the laughs.

Why not just stop reading here for awhile rather than deleting your account? Just take time away. Things go back to perspective after awhile. And it isn't hurting anything, is it, to leave the account but not use it?

I'm trying very hard to not make posts just so I can be a "member" as opposed to a "junior member". "Junior member" sounds a tad patronizing to me. So far I haven't posted anything just to post. Patience. I'll be part of the grownups soon.
