I just got out of the hospital after being there a week. Now I just don't know what to do with myself. I can't wait to see my T on Monday. I am not sure when I should go back to work. I am still not sleeping well so all I really want to do is take a nap but every time I try I just end up laying there and not sleeping.

is there any way you can get some structure to your day?

I hate that "hospital hangover" after coming out... hang out here is it helps.

Well they wanted me to go back to Php but that is where I was before the hospital and it just seemed to make everything worse. Now I just need to figure out how not to be overwhelmed by everything. My concentration still sucks so even trying to read or watch tv is hard.

does going out into public help? like maybe window shopping or just going for a walk?
I'm sorry php seemed to make everything worse. I know it was difficult for me to find a php program that I felt could help. I tried a few, and finally ended up with one that helped rather than hurt. Would finding a different program be in the cards?

would doing somehting simple but repetitive help? I sometimes go on "paper crane benders" where I just mindlessly fold papeer cranes till my hands hurt. It helps me keep busy and I don't have to think too hard about it because after a while it becomes muscle-memory...

also, does having the tv or a movie on in th ebg help at all? when I can't concentrate on anything, I pick something I've seen before so I can zone out, but still know what's going on when my attention wanders back to it... the bg noise helps me feel less alone. The other day I watched Despicable Me for the millionth time. I tuned most of it out, except the parts with the minions (coz they make me laugh).

Right now I am just playing a mindless game on my iPad and catching up on stuff online that I missed in the past week. Just really waiting for my wife to get home so we can go pick up our other car from my parents house.
