I'm really struggling with the suicide of a friend March 1. It's bringing up so much yucky-ness from the past 3-4 years. On top of that this is all making me yearn for x-Pdoc. Ugh!! Then add to that I'm definitely eating everything in sight currently and have been for a while. I'm in pure misery but I just don't show it.

Family is coming into town. Ick. I'm just not in the mood for that but they will be here sometime tomorrow.

Just needed to vent.

Thanks all for being so wonderful.

Sorry to hear you are still grieving. The loss of a friend can take time to heal.

Have a wonderful Sunday.

Losing someone always sucks and it can be even harder to accept and understand when it's suicide. I hope having your family in town provides you a bit of a distraction or even support.

You don't have to go through this alone.

I'm so sorry you're struggling with your good friend's su. I sure do get it about how it brings up things in your own life/existence! I too am in a place that I'm "giving in" to my binge eating disorder. I don't know about you but it makes me nuts that I respond to "emotional" things with out of control eating. I want to be treat myself in a better more mature way . . . funny how I'm not able to do that! I sure hope things get better for you. I'm glad you're able to be open and caring for your friend who wasn't able to handle the stress and destruction that they felt in their life. Sometimes we feel angry or disappointed in our friend's choice, but it seems to me that you just feel sorrow and compassion. You're a good friend. Take care.
