Ooh, we can include negative inanimate objects? Then No. 3 is flypaper - hard to disentangle from.

I liken P to one of those gargoyles on cathedrals...can't remember what they're called now. Something like this:

I cannot stand the blank slate approach...it's too much like talking to a brick wall. Every time I saw her, I was grateful that I didn't have to pay! That or a lampshade...encouraging me to cover up the most important parts of myself.

From the little I know about my new t, I'd make her a raincoat, because raincoats are helpful (well, useful) and she seems to really want to help me.

I think of mine as a level. He always helped me find my balance. In fact, years ago I gave him a figurine of a circus bear balancing on a ball. He got the symbolism immediately.
