My T says all sorts of things. I think she wants me to hear positive things from her often so maybe they will stick in my head and I will believe them, too.
I think she was serious with one comment but it gives me a chuckle: "Cecelia, I learn from you all the time." |

I don't believe his compliments...he probably says similar things to all his clients. I will feel very naive to believe them.

For me, whether they mean it or not is not the concern. If the nice things a therapist says are useful to a client - then great. It seems that people are mostly reporting that they like it when the therapist does it.
