Fascinating workshop this morning!! 4 hours felt like 4 minutes. We shared our dreams from last night after the lecture, the speaker did a little analysing of each of them for us, which I loved. I stayed behind and talked with her for a few minutes to let her know how wonderful the experience was. Just, a wow morning!!
Thanks for this!

I would think it would be interesting to have someone analyze a dream who did not know you compared to someone who did. Have you found it matters?

I tried Trader Joe's butternut ravioli because I am making pasta and looking for combos to try - but it is easier for me if I find something I like and try to replicate it. These I tried are way too sweet for me - but I like them enough to try to make my own less sweet kind.

And the pants thing...like, whaaaat? Also, vests and braces...actually I don't know what a vest is in US. Or braces
But the worst, really worst, is f*nny, and f*nny pack. Just don't even go there.

What kind of sauce does one eat with butternut ravioli?

Rocket pesto is good because it balances out the sweetness.

Ooh, that f***ny word. I can't cope with it

I made a kale/spinach/chard with garlic saute that I put on top of it - if I had arugula (rocket) I would have added it.

I am a sock matcher - but I know some people who take pleasure in wearing unmatched socks.

You were the one who brought it up.

Perhaps a cup of tea will soothe you.

Vest=waistcoat or sleeveless pullover
Braces, I'm not sure honestly... Beyond the ones that go on teeth...
Fanny pack. Snerk.

I like to carry big bags with long shoulder straps. I don't understand how people manage to fit everything they need into girl pants pockets. Even if they aren't hauling junk for a couple of kids...

This combo sounds great and I add Chick peas or beans to the greens with a light marinara. Great for dipping crusty bread! yum

Braces are suspenders to hold up your pants, or your stockings.

I use a backpack. A nice black backpack to match my shoes!

As an aside, I was surprised when my son wasn't born cheese-it orange. For the first 3 months of my pregnancy they were about the only thing I could keep down! Those, and strawberries!

I am not a cheeseit eater much. Nor a goldfish fan.
I align with fritos.

This was the first time someone who didn't know me analyzed one of my dreams. (I'd only ever done dream work with my own t before today.) I felt that she was spot on, with what I had already worked out on my own this morning prior to going there. Then again, she did ask a few questions prior to giving her thoughts. Still, it was precious little information that she had about me, and I think she was quite correct. Part of dream work is archetypal in nature anyway, and that part she obviously excels at. It was kinda weird, she reminds me a whole lot of my own t, and I felt very at ease sharing my dream with the group (it was a small group, 7 women and 1 man) most of whom are practicing therapists. We each shared what we dreamed last night, and then we also wrote and shared our first memory in as much sensory detail as possible. That was almost as fascinating as the dream sharing. This was like 7 different mini-analysis-sessions done in a group setting. As shy as I can be, I loved every minute of it!!
Thanks for this!

Also, I had a rather startling but crystal-clear realization during last night's lecture that was solidified by today's workshop: I already knew that my 'inner work' is far from being done. But what I realized, is how much I have truly just begun... I'm going to end up going back to school to be a t myself before long if this keeps up.
Thanks for this!
