I often think he must think I'm the worst person in the world. And I find it hard to believe when he says things like I'm smart, strong, good person, whatever. I don't know if he's being paid to say that stuff like salespeople say to people trying on clothes. He says I have to believe in myself and it doesn't matter what nice things people say to me now, it doesn't match what was said to me by my family as a child or teenager or young adult. Or even ever.
