I would hazard that this is more about filling a void and desperately avoiding things than a hypomanic episode... I think the new med may also be contributing...
New coping skill perhaps?
Thanks for this!

Though I'm no authority, I would tend to agree. Is vyanase a stimulant? I thought it a was less stimulating alternative to adderral or Ritalin.

Setting aside the issue of diagnosis, spending loan money on that type of project is generally not a wise financial decision. It's not really the type of investment worth paying interest.

Yes it is a stimulat. My husband is an addict, although he is sober now, and he takes this med for his add. We decided to try it because he desperately needed to do something for his add, and we picked this one because it is harder to abuse, but not impossible. It has a time release mechanism to prevent abuse, but taking not during the day time when one is working, or taking more than the dosage would be an abuse of the drug. It is also a schedule I I substance, which pretty much means it has a street value. There is also tolerance and things like that so how the drug is used matters a great deal. Taking too much of this drug is very dangerous, and taking it to prevent sleep is also harmful.

I will say that a lot of people with bipolar II don't know they have it because they can usually function ok. Sometimes they are really energetic and productive, so they seem to be doing well.

Spending is reckless when it's impulsive and when you are spending more than have and/neglecting your other financial responsibilities. Are you responsible for some of your mothers finances or do you just feel like you should give her money? There is a big difference...
She's always whining about how broke she is she can't pay rent Etc Etc so I always end up giving her about $300 every month. I don't technically have to but if I didn't she could not pay her rent

Vyvanse is essentially an extended release type of adderall that is harder to abuse bc it only activates once it passes your small intestine

It isn't expensive because of the exchange rate it has always been that expensive even when our dollar was higher than yours. But yes if you want to visit you should go now thank our prime minister as well because he is responsible for this terrible economy at the moment. And he has big ears which makes him look like a monkey.
Thanks for this!

Thank you for this. I knew it was different but didn't understand what it was.
