But now that you've asked your question, he has no reason not to ask his.
Yeah, the second bullet point on my list of things to talk about is "F's question - get on with it!" Told him if needs be I'll sit on him and pin him down until he asks, boundaries or no
He will not get away with that for another week.
Thanks for this!

******UPDATE - TRIGGER WARNING******

So we finally got around to his question. He asked if I had experienced sexual abuse as a child. I was slightly taken aback as it kinda came out the blue in terms of the recent topic of conversation, but now I see why he wanted to wait until the beginning of a session (in case it stirred bad stuff up). Now I'm reflecting on it I'm a little miffed as it is something we talked about quite early on. Ach well, at least I know what we will be talking about next week

I guess we dont have to worry anymore. Sounds like he has the matter well in hand. He kinda sounds like my t! Able to meet the client where we are, yet maintain his position.

He has always been very open about being human and imperfect and as such may make mistakes, but they are just that.

I've had really (REALLY) bad experiences with a couple of people in the past who call themselves a counselor / therapist, current T is definitely one of the good guys.
Thanks for this!
