Depends where I am on the bipolar spectrum.

If you are wearing that does that mean SD wears her welding mask and gloves?

I have T after work so I usually wear my work clothes, but if I know it's going to be a hard session, I stop home to change into something that feels safer: fleecy tops, loose pants, etc. something with a hood and thumb holes!
Thanks for this!

Trench coat and a thong?

Kidding, so kidding.

I've only had one therapist who was even remotely good looking, but there was no attraction whatsoever.

I never gave a second thought as to what I wear to therapy. I wear whatever I happen to be wearing that day.....that is, my clothing is appropriate for my other activities of the day, and I just go to therapy as is.
Thanks for this!

YES. I wish ALL my long-sleeved shirts had thumb holes. One of my favorite modern inventions. Instead, I zip up my jacket as far as it goes, hide my face in it, my hands in my sleeves and gaze at my zipper

Or, more importantly, something to shoot the bullet out of?

You just use the wooden stake to make a hole and stick the bullet in as it is the silver that does the trick I understand....

I actually dress according to the message I want her to observe about me at the session. If I'm feeling low and want her to know this I will actually go purposely looking like crap. If I want her to notice I am doing better I make the effort to look well put together.

Sometimes I guess I need validation that life is rough and I need that extra emphasis on how down I am.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who does this. Makes me feel horribly manipulative, like, "Jesus, why can't you just SAY what you're feeling?" but then I feel even worse and have even less motivation to get myself presentable.

I don't purposely dress like crap if I feel like crap. I just can't be bothered to put on a dress and make up. So I guess that's how they know.

I'm always temped to dress nicely to show off the weight I've lost and because when I do dress nicely she always tells me I look pretty. Also, she's very pretty and dresses nicely. ButI also usually feel like crap and don't have the energy, also I often end up crying for the whole session so there's really no point in wearing makeup or anything.

In the summer, her office is insanely hot since the hospitals here aren't air conditioned. She's the only person on the planet who I am mostly comfortable taking off my long sleeves in front of since she sees my cuts/scars all the time anyway.
Thanks for this!
