Oh always check your work! Underwear checker lady #9 doesnt ask the underwear tailors if she should check their work! Just put on a different hat and check your work. It will cause you LESS worry in the long run.

A friend of mine once said that computer programming (and this applies here i think) is the only job where you can get paid for doing it wrong over and over again!

So I didn't check my work. Probably should have, though.

I dont mean change an answer if there is no way to test it. But like in this case, there is a way to test it - you do the equation the other way. A lot of math you can check your work - add up the angles of your triangle, junk like that. But if you cannot check it objectively like that, i agree - dont second guess yourself.

Im glad your plan is for a year. I am having a hard time figuring out what is too tired and what is pushing it too much or not enough.

I hear ya on the six months. 40 years later...

I've been with my T for six and half years. It hasn't been a constant every week thing. I think there was a year or two in there where I was going every other month to just check in with him.

But I had no idea how long I'd be with him when I first started. I was a mess!

Okay, im startin to talk to my scale. "This is not funny, scale!" Good thing its not one that talks back to ya. The apt mgr said we will probably be open til oct 3, and they will come into the apts to close the ac units the third week of october. So my life is all planned out for this month, knock on wood. Im thinking if i decide to swim inside, maybe i will swim on t days plus saturday? That would give me 2 on, one off, 2 on, then sunday & monday off. I think 2 days of swimming then a day off will manage the tiredness / overtraining / undertraining dilemma. I cant believe how dumb i am about this, but i am. Ive never successfully managed something like this in my life. Im more of a all or nothing at all girl. But now im beholden to t. I like that word better than accountable. What story is that from, beholden? Member of the Wedding?

i definitely thought of that as i was typing my answer, but i was on my phone and way too lazy to write more. i still didn't check my work with math, though I hated it, and wanted to be done ASAP.

You should give your scale a name and put eye and nose and mouth stickers on it! Creepy, huh?

I used to swim every day but my shoulder couldn't take it, so I do every other day now. Works much better, more energy on days I swim. Then do something on the off day, some totally different exercise, to keep your body on its toes.

And also most definitely THIS. I loathe math with the hot passion of a thousand fiery suns.
