I finally found a private practice female Pdoc who will take my insurance and see me. This one is 45-60 minutes away. No appointment made yet....might not have an opening until March or April. But they agreed to see me and are sending me a new patient packet.

I've looked for her reviews online...they are all five stars. I'm not thrilled her bio says she prefers in-depth insight oriented psychotherapy including psychoanalysis.. I don't do well with "blank screen" unresponsive psychiatrists. But if I don't like her, I won't stay with her.

Mostly, I'm looking for a female Pdoc I don't hate too much that I trust to admit me if I need to go in. I don't want to get stuck with a freak Pdoc "on call."

I could have seen a Pdoc closer if I went through our county mental health but 1) Pdocs don't stay there long..2) I don't trust the skill of county PDocs.. 3) They admit to the hospital where my daughter works...she does inpatient psych insurance billing for that hospital. Poor kid, I don't want her to know all my psych details.

The tapes created in our brains when we were kids are apparently very difficult to erase, i guess. My t always tells me I'm not but in that part of me I'll never believe it.

T and i were talking about this just yesterday. I "had it too good" because we had indoor plumbing, food, i had more than one pair of underpants, and didnt have to use tree leaves to wipe my butt. Definitely spoiled! Kids nowadays have it too good :rant: im just confused .

Going to try the car thing at a new dealership tonight.

T in 2.5 hours. I curled my hair (rolled it up in strips of an old tshirt when wet lastnight n slept on it) its crazy curly and i wonder what she'll say about it. I usually do nothing w my hair but wash n comb it.

I love where I live where else would you see a Ford Astra parked in the same driveway as a Maserati. I saw someone driving a Tesla EV S this morning. I am so insanely jealous. Both lawyer and T told me to call the cops if stbx pulls any more crap at exchanges. I have no idea why or how to explain why they might as well be asking me to pull moonbeams out of my arse. I don't know what to do now. Because he will pull more sh^t... And I don't know how to stop him...

Would he back down if he knew the police were coming? Is there someone you know who call for you or would the ex back down if you bought another adult?

That's the thing. I'd have to call right there, right in front of the kids, with him getting in my face. And he'd be gone by the time they got there.
T said I should get him alone outside of the car or on the phone before he starts talking to the kids and tell him if he doesn't cop on I'll call the cops. That's a bad idea. He doesn't take me seriously and will only see it as me going out of my way to have one on one time with him.
There's no one who can come to exchanges with me. Four times a weekend... My family all live out of state/ out of the country.

JS I would come with you to all exchanges, and I would call the cops for you. Hell I'd even be willing to kick him in the kneecap if that makes you smile a little!

Speaking of exes, mine has been stalking me by proxy (sending people to my house and getting reports on every damn thing I do) and he's been calling my extension at work multiple times a day for months. Now he's figured out how to call into the incoming call center! Two of my coworkers have talked with him, there are only 10 of us, it's just a matter of time until his voice pops up in my ear. I have a harassment suit against him, but nobody can stop him. Very triggering sorry!

What about calling the cops before you open the door?

In our area, police stations have set up safe exchange spots outside their stations for trading off kids and things like Craig's List purchases, etc. They have surveillance cameras, etc. Have you checked to see if your local police station has safe exchange spots?
