Yes it did thanks. I get them rarely so I didn't have any time frame for the healing but it took the sting out.

my h is so mature. the older cat (the one that doesn't like the kitten) was hissing at the kitten today and swatted at her, so my h picked him up and hissed in his face and said "how do you like it?" and put the cat in the bathroom. when i got home he told me what happened and now he's regretting what he did and afraid the older cat hates him and is going to kill the kitten to spite him. never a dull moment.

the commune idea is looking better and better.

lol. i mean, it was not nice to do this to a cat, but i have a feeling the cat will shake it off pretty quickly. I just pictured a grown man hissing in a cat's face, and couldn't help but laugh. Its not quite as bad as sticking a dog's nose in its own poop, but close.
Thanks for this!

Perhaps maybe one day my emotional IQ will be better than that of a teenager and I will be able to cope with the negative crap in a healthy manner, that doesn't include SI, eating, etc..

I had a husband who would hiss back at the cat - it was his cat, too. The cat loved me, didn't like the husband so much.

I think "Yucky Emotions" should be the next Ben and Jerry flavor! It would take all the deciding out of what kind of ice cream to get under stress.

Now the only question is, what should be in it?

More seriously,

Evening, couch.

No CVS tonight due to a late (4:30) t appt. It went so-so. She brought up the stuff I mentioned last session and asked how I survived it. She asked how my jobs were going. I told her I was sick of my school job (the location) due to being told to eff-off every class every day and being called a b***h at least 3 times a day. I mentioned that I had applied for a 6th grade position at a local elem. school that has a strong administration and that I got a call today asking for an interview tomorrow. So, then she was asking about my interviewing skills. Weird session. No talk at all about my hallucinations as a child and delusions in college. Though, she'd probably think I was nuts if she ever does find out.

No CVS tomorrow due to the Winter Festival at school. I was going to wear my cute Christmas shirt all day, but now with my interview, I should probably just change into it after school before the festival. It would be unprofessional to show up to an interview in jeans and a t-shirt. Oh well.

CVS on Saturday and Sunday though and every day next week. As the pharm manager put it to me, he had to schedule one tech 7 days that week and I am the one who is more agreeable and complains the least, so he chose me. Good to know he considers those traits in me. I don't know if that is a good thing to be labeled as though. I guess I am a work-a-holic.

I feel like there should be something hard in it too - like pretzel or nut bits, to symbolize the bumps in the road.

And something gooey, like marshmallow or caramel or peanut butter sauce, because you get mired down in yucky emotions.

This just reminded me! The first mr luna once bit our cat. To see how she would like it. I just couldnt get past why he would voluntarily take a mouthful of cat fur when YOU KNOW...! Idk which of us was the bigger idiot.

I am constantly biting our animals. I nibble on their ears mostly. I keep my lips covering my teeth so it is not like it hurts them. On the orphans we raised, I would hold them belly side up and go, NOM NOM NOM all over their tummies. They were too young to know they were supposed to hate it so they all let me do it even now that they are full grown.
Thanks for this!

Well - different strokes and all. I don't think I have ever had an urge to nibble on their ears or to nomnomnom on a pet's underside. Perhaps I am just not that familiar with my pets. (picture me and the cats nodding to each other in the library - each of us in our individual leather club chairs with our newspapers and port).
I have gently rubbed the stomachs of the ones who seemed to like (demand more like) it.
