I've never said I was proud of my feelings of envy and jealousy. I'm just trying to accept these feelings and not repress them. that's how I feel. I can't help it.
I've discussed these feelings in therapy.

I don't envy T's "fancy" life - which she has - but I think it puts a barrier between us because of my own feelings. I start thinking that she can't possibly relate to me and my life and the struggles I have....that she doesn't know what it's like to suffer from depression and anxiety and try to be a working professional...to be single and feel so alone all the time...to be a mother to an troubled, adopted teenager... I know she has her own set of problems, it just gets stuck in my head that she can't relate to mine.
Thanks for this!

It's possible "unreachable" doesn't mean she's traveling but that she's just not working during this time (part of which would mean no outside of session contact). For many people it's the only way they can be fully present with their families.
Thanks for this!

Add up a year's therapy and it comes to a pretty decent holiday. So that's the price you pay, I guess.
