I have some of those antimicrobial undies that are supposedly good for a week for backpacking. I've never gone a week but after 3-4 days they still smell fresh. They are pretty awesome.

I have never heard of these underpants of which you speak, but I must find some!

I am definitely a repeat pants offender. I HATE shopping for pants, so I have one pair of black, one pair of tan, one pair of olive green. I replace them when they start looking bad. I don't have a huge wardrobe anyway. Mix and match with various tops. Has to do. Not exactly rolling in dough.

Sometimes I'll notice when someone seems unwell, or happy--things like that. Mostly I
don't give a lot of thought to how I look, including clothing, hair, cosmetics. Unless I'm going into something uncomfortable. Then I choose everything carefully & I think of it as costume, mask ... well you know.

I don't notice much about others. I did have a T for about a year who seemed to wear the same black suit, white shirt, highly polished laced-up shoes. The tie was always conservative but I never really noticed anything else--except that he looked physicallyuncomfortable.

I have 3 exact same pants and 10 exact same shirts that I wear every day, which I rotate and wash as needed. It's normal.

I don't own a ton of pants and my winter wardrobe is looking a bit drab I usually rotate out the same few "nice" outfits (I don't work full time anymore) and I have a toddler at home so at home it's all sweatpants and t-shirts hahaha. I have a million of those. Because children.

Oh my god, PLEASE do this!! I feel like my T notices that I rotate the same 5 pairs of comfy pants throughout the weeks, while she always seems to have nice clothes. Granted, its a saturday, and i refuse to wear anything but comfy clothes on the weekends. She is lucky I wear a bra!

I tend to wear the same things on the same day of the week. Not on purpose, just because of when I do laundry, what I do on those days, etc. So if you see your T on the same day of the week, maybe that's just her Monday outfit, or her favorite pants she wears as soon as she does laundry or something.

I try to never wear the same thing twice to therapy. I feel that's the least a T could do, right?
OK, I feel better that you do this, too! I try not to wear the same thing to T or marriage counselor more than once a month. T tends to wear quite a variety of things. But I think MC may have a total wardrobe of like 6 dress shirts, 3 polo shirts, and 3 pairs of pants. Plus the occasional tie.

I wear the same t-shirt every week to therapy. It's easier to do it that way. I don't want to think about what I wear and I hardly ever notice what my therapist (or anyone else) wears.

I actually don't notice what the therapist is wearing. I can't usually recall what she looks like if I try to picture her. I saw the woman today and couldn't tell you whether she was wearing pants or a skirt. I would never know if she wore the same thing all the time or not.

I will say, I only glance at my T briefly during the hour, so I only have a hazy idea of what she wears.

I have seen my T wear the same shirt sometimes. I never notice her pants though. I like the boots she wears. She does always appear to be wearing something different.

I can not wear anything more than once before it goes in the wash. I think its part of my OCD. I do try to not wear the same thing to my sessions.

I guess when your butt is sitting in the same chair every day, all day, once you find a pair of pants that fits and doesn't cut off your circulation, you stick with what works.

I remember an old T of mine once wore thick black stockings with a white skirt and cream coloured shoes. It looked so bad that it distracted me the whole session. I know it's shallow but I couldn't help it. My point is, I understand why the pants thing would bother you!

For those of us who aren't fashion oriented having multiple pairs of the same pants simplifies life.

My T now knows if I am having rare afternoon off from work if I show up in a new jacket or something...

Wouldn't bother me. My T does have one pair of really ripped up jeans she wears and I always wonder if its a retro 80's fashion or she just can't find any other ones that morning...

I'm very much the same. I have duplicates of so many things in my closet. I joke that people must think I always wear the same articles of clothing, but I do rotate them. Its SO much easier to buy multiples of something when I buy new clothes. If I can, I'll get whatever in multiple colors. I love thrift shopping (because, well, you never know what you're going to find, and when you get a shirt or whatever for like $2, its no biggie).....but when I'm buying new clothes.....it can be SO hard to find something that fits right, so when I do, I get multiples.

I LOATHE shopping so if I find something I like I buy as many as I can afford. So right now I have 9 pairs of identical black jeans and 2 identical light blue jeans and 2 identical dark blue jeans. I think I have 12 shirts/blouses BUT only technically 3 different shirts because I bought same shirt different colours.

If my T wore the same pants over and over I'd just assume she had multiple pairs of the same style like I do.

I generally fall into a few comfortable outfits each season and keep wearing, wash, repeat. I don't like spending much time thinking about, planning out, or being concerned much with clothing. My t always looks styled and put together. To each her own.

Mine has probably worn the same navy or black pants every time and he probably has 10 pairs of each. I myself have two pairs of the same shorts and jeans that I wash and wear each time I go to work. It's like an uniform. Takes the stress out of deciding what to wear and saves time.

Exactly what I think too.
I have a million black t-shirts and wear them for therapy all the time.
No need to worry about what to wear, ever! :-)
No shopping stress either. Love it.

That should be a reportable offense!! my long term female t was a fashionista and i do miss that. She was always very classily and interestingly dressed.

I am a total full tilt diva (Kors bags in every color, heels, Nars and Tom Ford makeup, PRADA prescription glasses) but if you looked at my clothes you wouldn't know it. I'm stylish but i have a seasonal uniform. the more I have to do the less I'm interested in spending a lot of time figuring out what to wear. and I tend to buy staple items. (pants, leggings, tanks, sweaters) I really like that look/fit/feel good in multiples of 5 or 7. it looks like I'm wearing the same thing all the time but I'm not. who knows. but I do know when I worked direct services I bought 5 tops, 5 skirts, 3 cardigans, 2 sweaters and 3 pairs of pants and only wore those.
Thanks for this!

AH- I think it might be interesting to find out why it bothers you so much.
