I need cupcakes and someone who models that being human isn't some itchy sweater needing to be burned. I get both. it's nice

Unfortunately, I needed what your therapist use to give you. I got enough of it, so when things are really extreme (e.g. my teen not wanting to go back to university), I can conjure up those images, because those primitive/infant feelings are there.

I sent her an email about them this morning, "Childlike needs/wants for you, my thumb, etc."

Her response, "Of course, we are not surprised considering all that is going on with child at the moment, and the upcoming journey "home".

I wish you and your therapist could consult an unbiased third party together if you decide to stay with her.

Also, I did not know I had these needs until she sought to satisfy them.
