Dressed pup in his coat because it is in the single digits and he is short haired. He had more perplexment than actual dislike of it.

Maybe I blocked it out, or maybe my smeller is more sensitive, but my coral paint smells like stinky feet!

Cant sleep so decided to paint inside the cubbies. It needs another coat, and I've got to mix some paint to get the perfect shade of grey for the outside. Yep, this will be a fun 'every day after work' activity, which may or may not be completed by next weekend.

I'm loving the fact that I'm using something old and ugly, and turning it into something functional and less ugly. I'm also loving that feeling of accomplishment from getting this joint clean and organized. Win!
Thanks for this!

Not once I caught him.
And I think you are brave to paint in the dead of winter. Are the fumes bad?

I'm thinking of getting another lamp. It seems so much darker now without the lights on the tree. I know my living room is bare, but I didn't realize just how bare til I took that tree down. Curtains would improve it I think, but I hate to go messing with curtain rails. I don't plan to live here for too much longer...

Not really, the paint is low VOC (whatever that means) and the piece is small. It would be rather hard to open a window to air the room, since it's going to be in the low 20's tonight. We are sleeping a few rooms away, so far so good.

I quit T today. We've been at a stand-still for months now and only argue. Today she basically said it was all up to me and she'd just walk behind me. Not even next to.. behind.

She'll remain my case manager. I imagine we'll work out the details next week when we have a 'full' meeting (this T, family T, pdoc, my parents, myself).

I have pdoc tomorrow - wondering what he'll say. I imagine it'll be quite a busy hour, as we've planned to talk about a certain thing I don't feel comfortable sharing here, we'll probably talk about me doing not-well these last days, and we'll probably talk about T and I terminating. Wondering how we'll fit that into an hour.

Wish i had a portable privacy pod i could assemble around myself in the breakroom. It's hard to recharge and decompress in all this noise. Hmm maybe after i eat lunch I'll go find an empty conference room and do some self-reiki for a few. It's super noisy again today n i need quiet to recharge....

Are you in an area where you could walk around on breaks? Or are there picnic tables nearby?

I'm very glad today is moving fast. The first day or two each week is always a bear on the phones, so it passes quickly. I want a fireplace so I can light it and sit in front of it for about 30 seconds before complaining about how hot it is. . .

This is my first time posting in a "couch" thread! Hope it's ok. Not really sure what I'm doing. LOL

So... here is a random thought and some exciting news!

1.) I work in a rural school system in the south, and it's supposed to snow tomorrow! Translation: We should get a snow day or two, maybe even 3!

2.) Overslept this morning because my phone somehow died overnight (despite a 90% charge). However, I'm notorious for hitting snooze about 10 times as well. Conclusion: I need a regular plug-in alarm clock that makes me get out of bed and recite the pledge of allegiance, sing the Star Spangled Banner, and say the alphabet backwards before it stops blaring.
